I was just thinking about Souda yesterday that audio post, where he says "No-Talent Hina-chan!" He was acting very much like a bully And little did I know, I was taunting Souda in my head, saying "You little punk! You've become the thing you're most scared of!" And there's no telling if Souda realizes that about himself or not Not even with the comments he makes towards Hinata (when he gets mad at Hinata during the late game over a disagreement), but a lot of other things
Biting and snide comments at other students, dismissing his own perverted looks and statements towards Sonia, and most importantly how he constantly rejects Gundam's tries for friendship
Not because he's jealous of the attention he gets from Sonia (although that is part of the reason) but mainly because he's /weird/
Now correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Souda bullied for being different, in the regards that he was this weak little brainiac kid who kept to himself? Maybe, MAYBE, he lashes out at Gundam indirectly because he's trying to get him to "man-up", so to say, or rather, he sees Gundam as himself, and he's mad AT himself for being so different from others, so "out there" and just so plain weird
Or maybe, like I said, he doesn't realize it, and its a self-conscious reaction
Either way, Souda's tragic as hell and I wish there was a way to milk the creators of these games of all their character knowledge
