For the headcanon thing: Agents of SHIELD and Wizarding World AU

Fitz is Gryffindor, Jemma is Ravenclaw, Skye is Hufflepuff. Jemma comes from a fairly old wizarding family; her mum is a Healer and her dad works for the Ministry. Fitz is half-blood but was raised mostly Muggle since his Wizarding dad died when he was young. Skye is a GREAT UNKNOWN but was raised at a Muggle orphanage so she generally assumes she is muggleborn.

The Carters are one of the oldest and most respected wizarding families there are, along with the Wards and the Odinsons. If Peggy Carter had wanted to become Minister of Magic, she could have been, but she refused many times. Christian Ward is dead set to become Minister. Peggy was too busy running the Department of Magical Law Enforcement, where she trained and worked with Melinda May for many years. All the extended Carter clan (Sharon, Trip) are expected to pass through the Department of Magical Law Enforcement eventually.

Nick Fury runs Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry with Deputy Headmistress Maria Hill. Beauxbatons is run by Isabelle Hartley and Durmstrang is run by Daniel Whitehall. All three headmasters are cordial, if not friendly. 

Skye is starting to think that she might be psychic? She only took Divination because she thought it would be easy (Blake is a hack) but things are actually happening and not because she made them happen. Also she got an actual O on her Divination OWL which no one has gotten in 250 years or something. Not even Blake. Especially not Blake. She thinks its sorta weird to be good at Divination and not a useful subject like Fitz is good at Transfiguration and Jemma is good at Potions but it was really nice to get an O on something. 

Coulson originally wanted to work in the Ministry and did so for a few good years before realizing that the bureaucracy just wasn’t the place for him. He wanted to really help people, see a real change happen, see results from his efforts. His friend Bruce talked him into working at Hogwarts and convinced him that guiding young people and being part of their growth would be really satisfying to him and he was absolutely right. Coulson gave May the same speech before she came to teach Defense Against the Dark Arts.

Steve Rogers

Why I like them: He’s just so earnestly good and self-sacrificing.  And he’s like me in a lot of ways, but of course better...or at least more extreme, because in some ways he’s freaking terrifying (like the extent of his self-sacrificing tendencies).

Why I don’t: 

Favorite episode (scene if movie): Fighting Bucky on the helicarrier in TWS.

Favorite season/movie: I like him in every movie, but of course TWS is the best.

Favorite line: “I could do this all day” or “If I’m the only one, so be it. But I’m willing to bet I’m not.”

Favorite outfit: His TWS Cap suit.

OTP: Bucky and Peggy (it’s actually more of an OT3, heh)

Brotp: Nat and Sam

Head Canon: He’s bi…but does that even count as a ‘head’ canon at this point?  :P

Unpopular opinion: He’s totally in character in ‘The Avengers’.  Every single thing he does and says fits perfectly into his overall character arc.  It’s not bad writing, bad acting, or bad directing.(And another one: Tony might be interested in him, but Steve wouldn’t be interested back, and they’d never work out.)

A wish: For him to get a happy ending.  No more war, no more suffering.  For him to get the reward he deserves.

An oh-god-please-dont-ever-happen: Anything even remotely resembling the comics Civil War story line.

5 words to best describe them: loyal, honest, heroic, protective, cheeky

My nickname for them: Steve, if that counts.  Or ‘Cap’ when talking to people who might not know who ‘Steve’ is from context.

Give me a chracter.

Oh my goodness, that is way too nice of a comment!  Y'all bout to make me cry, good golly. I'm also flabbergasted at being included in the same list as jemmmasimmmons, whose work makes me flail and fall over, and I agree -- her Jemma-as-an-Avenger fic is truly fantastic.
