so earlier i was riding in the car with my mom and we were listening to the soundtrack from Music and Lyrics (pretty much the only romcom i'll actually sit through) and so then I made this crazy Souji/Yosuke Music and Lyrics AU in my head.

So, Souji would be this rather young guy whose only experience in the music business has been in a boyband. Now that they've broken up, he's trying to do a solo career with the help of his manager, Dojima. He was offered a chance to perform with the popular idol Risette, but only if he can write a song she'd like. Since he's only good with the instrumental part of it and not the music, he hires Kanji to write the lyrics, until Kanji quits when Souji picks the lyrics his substitute plant waterer- Yosuke- comes up with on the spot. (basically the plot for Music and Lyrics, with a few changes to make it fit)

Yeah, that's the gist of it. I have a ton more ideas for it, too...
