RESTING ON THE ROAD
---------------
When tired and down
Walking about the town
Laying down to see the sky
Does it think of pouring down?
Make me wet not in tears
For joy has no bounds
No chains, no fears..
Tired legs not tired mind
And eyes that can see behind
Just stopping by
Just dropping a little sunshine
Here and there, on the way
In this day.
Someday someone may come
Walking along the same
And lay down for a rest
I am keeping my heart beats for others
To hear and be alive on scorchy summers
And cling to for warmth in winter nights
That which lights
The broken glass pane of the lonely house
At the end of the road..
I have rested there in comfort
Of mosquitoes, spiders, rats and a groaning toad
Making me at peace with the dust
The road calls again
And there go, I must!
