14. When one has a cold, what does the other do?

The person who has the cold would probably be Saige due to her constant travels in all sorts of weather. When that inevitably happens, Josephine makes sure that not only does Saige have the best healers tending to her, but will also pull favors to get Saige special herbs or foods that will help her feel better.

21. Where do they get nervous about going with one another?

Saige is always nervous attending social functions with Josephine, especially if they involve the nobility. Saige isn’t on the best of terms with her family and is always afraid of running into them in a place she can’t easily get away.

25. Why do they fight?

Their fights are usually one sided and it involves Saige not taking better care of herself. She’s a former templar and after all of the atrocities she witnessed at the hands of other templars, Saige vowed to make sure to help get mages out of the Circles and find lives where they don’t have to be threatened. Usually, she will put her own health and life on the line to help someone else, and while Josephine finds it heroic, she hates it when Saige takes too many risks.

15. When they watch a film what do they choose and why? Who gets the final vote?

Thane doesn’t have much experience with human films so he always defers the decision to Charley on what they watch. Charley’s favorite go to films are old science fiction movies that were clearly hoping for things that didn’t actually happen. One of her favorite series is Star Trek.

22. Where does their first kiss happen?

On the Citadel, not long after the awful events of Horizon. Charley tries to find some solace alone and Thane comes to comfort her. After talking out what happened on Horizon, they share a small kiss. Nothing too special, just a small moment of comfort and peace between people who care deeply for one another.

I’ll use one OC for this question: Charley Shepard. She has freckles scattered across her face and parts of her body. She also has burn scars and other scars across her body from her time on Mindoir and in war.

Sorry this took so long! Here it is. I hope it’s at least somewhat good. 

27. “Life happens. Coffee helps.”

The cream swirled as Esther poured it into her coffee. She stared at it for a moment, memorizing the way it turned the coffee into the color it usually was when she drank it: a light brown that her brother said was gross to look at and probably even more gross to drink. Finlay might like the bitter darkness of black coffee, but Esther didn’t want her heart to burst the moment she drank the stuff.

With a sigh, Esther set the carton on the table beside her mug. Then she lifted the caffeinated goodness to her lips.

Before she could take a sip, the door to the quiet kitchen squeaked opened.

“Mornin’, Ryder.”

From the corner of her eye, Esther watched as Vetra Nyx searched the cabinets for something to eat. She didn’t have the heart to tell her that she was sure that Drack had eaten most of the stuff already.

“Morning, Vetra.”

Esther took a gulp of her coffee to keep from saying anything stupid and proceeded to burn the roof of her mouth. Grimacing, she placed the mug back to the table and ran her fingers through her loose hair. It had been nearly a week since the truth about the kett’s motives had been revealed. It was all Esther could think about.

The turian sat across from her at the table, watching her curiously. “You ok?”

Closing her eyes, Esther pinched the bridge of her nose. “Sure. Life happens, Vetra. Coffee helps.” She motioned towards the cup in front of her, steam still rising from its depths. “At least, it would if I could actually drink it.”

“Ryder.”

Esther opened her eyes. Vetra’s expression matched her tone. The serious look wasn’t something that she was used to seeing aimed in her direction and for a moment, Esther felt that she might be berated for her attitude. Then she sighed again. “I’ll be alright, Vetra. It’s just… a lot to take in.”

They watched the steam for a moment together, neither wanting to break the silence to address the issue at hand. Finally, the turian took Esther’s hand in hers. “I’m here if you need to talk. Always.”

A smile threatened to emerge. Vetra always knew what to say to make her feel better. “Thanks, Vetra.”
