How I recall my soul Fragmants
I do this ritual when I won’t be disturbed and I have time to be patient with myself. As a survivor of sexually assault and abuse, I had a close friend in the other room keeping space for me along side my ancestors guides and guardian the first time I did this. It was overwhelming and I have someone just onside my door who I trusted comfort.
The first thing I do is ground myself then bath, and center. I then create a sacred space. I invite the divine I work most closely with and trust. I asked my ancestors, guides and guardian who have my highest good in mind come in assist me and offer their protection. Once I feel their presence I begin to light a candle for protection and a beacon of light, I then light a ritual incense.
I begin to meditate by focusing on my breath feeling sensation of air flowing through my nostrils into my lungs and back out.
I raise my shoulders to my ears and let them drop as if there are 500 pound weights on them.
Even if my mind wonders I allow it to; until I remember I focus back on my breathing.
Once I’m in the focus meditative state I allow any memory of trauma that my spirit is ready to deal with come to my mind.
I sometimes relive the trauma or just experience the emotions.
Once there I reground myself and feel for my own energy, if there is a piece of me still there, I ask for it to come back to me, reassuring that I am safe. I reassure myself that all is well and I think myself for my strength and resilience.
Once I’ve become one with myself again I dig a hole in that traumatic memory and I fill it with fertile dirt filled with my favorite critals shells and my favorite vibrations.; I plant a seed and watch it grow.
I do this so that when this memory reoccurs in my waking life I will see a sign that I have grown from it and something beautiful has come out of it. Sometimes when I revisit the same experience I sit and discuss with the plant or plants and receive wisdom from it or them; nothing like plant medicine to heal.
I am no5 a therapist this is a personality healing technique and I suggest opening up to professional help.
