No denial of worry, yet no outward panic. While Tohru was constantly debating with herself if she should go check up on the family, a few days to themselves were understandable, after what happened. The two girls hadn’t shown up to school and everything had gone back to ‘the way it was’...but it felt surreal. To him, at least.
Every time it looked like Tohru had something she wanted to say or ask, she quieted herself down, only to busy herself with housework or changing the ‘subject’ completely.
Maybe she’d be there today. Maybe not...He shouldn’t hold his breath...Jo didn’t want to go to school to begin with.
