Henry should have known that Juyeon would react that way, even though he knows that deep down she’s just as curious as he is – and hence just as stupid, too. “Come on,” he says, a begging undertone coming along with his words, “this isn’t like the movies, we’re not gonna die or some shit. I thought you didn’t believe in supernatural stuff, anyway?” The male arches a brow at the other, the hint of a grin appearing on his lips. Ever since they’ve read about the so-called Midnight Game and watched movies about it, Henry kept wondering about whether it’s actually legit or not – and there’s only one way to find out.

"You've been reading far too many creepypastas," Juyeon scoffed, though her tone faltered slightly, unveiling her nervousness she had feebly tried to cover with a brave face. Still, she couldn't deny her own interest on the topic; she had been the one who had willingly watched 'The Midnight Man' twice after all. "Can we at least bring Hyuna and Jaebum? At least that way, if we do happen to summon any demons, your farts, her screaming and Jaebum's sarcastic comments will scare them away!"

Without even awaiting an answer from the other, she dug into her back pocket and withdrew her phone, fingers tapping excitedly across the screen as she sent out several texts with added exclamation to her senior.

⠀⠀someone to talk about photography with; Jaebum instantly smiled. he gave a small nod to the male, shifting in his seat to become more comfortable before he began to speak. “the filter can change the entire mood of a picture. if you make it with a blue tone, it can feel calm, or sad. if you make it have a red tone, it can feel warm, or happy. personally, i like to saturate the colors and add a grain texture— it makes it feel a bit vintage.” he gave a small chuckle, feeling as though he were rambling on, “what do you like to do for your own pictures?”

`ㅂ´ ┊ Kibum’s guilty. One hundred and seven percent guilty!

Why? Well for far too long, Kibum’s fooled himself into thinking he had, well, little less than nothing in common with Jaebum other than the second syllable of their names ‘Bum’ (As not quite acquaintances but not quite friends either, Kibum constantly called the other ‘Jae Bum’ hard emphasis on the Bum as if to remind him that they share the same second syllable in their name). Further investigation (see: Instagram hopping) led him to the wonderful JB aesthetic that was totally his style, vintage.

“I play around with the adjustment sliders on  filters. Some of my favorite are a ‘hiro’, ‘alta’, duo, and ‘Tokyo’. I prefer having a main focus in my photos so the auto-focus works wonders for composition, I need to push this kid to it’s limits. ” He points specifically to the photos on his Leica that he’s just taken- stills of the frozen over ever so reliable Han river that lulls in their view changes depending on which filter he scrolls to. “ My settings aren’t too fun because when I bought this camera, everything was already set to it’s optimal capacity but it works amazingly without losing charm. These days I’m trying out different techniques in terms of composition  and having multiple subjects of focus. ” Of course he has, private selcas that’ll never see the light of day is on his memory card. “I think grain helps adds that nice gritty, Polaroid feel. It’s amazing to think digital cameras can replicate that, too. Who would have thought years later, after all these technological advances- that the low quality Polaroid would be a style we try to imitate.” 

Leg crosses over another as near frozen fingertips fiddle with the scrolling option to sample unused filters. “Do you think it’s possible for you to edit this photo in your style without using grain? ” He hums to himself, seemingly dismissing the idea just as quickly as he inquired.  “Ah maybe not. Maybe a photo of me is more deserving of your technique, me standing in front of the frozen Han, don’t you think?” Though words are smug, it’s said rather nonchalantly. Kibum turns his head to the younger, kindred smile coating his lips.  “A painter painting a painting. Wanna try? ”
