âźââWell, our time together has definitely been dramatic,â he laughed.
Minho didnât really know why this specific event had to be done at this time of the year. They had all year long to go searching together, but as always, Kibum won over with reasoning ( or, with force; Minho clearly didnât have a choice when the otherâs mind was made up ). Although the outing was out of place with the seasons, it was long overdue, and Minho was just as excited to be there.
Despite Kibumâs restless mocking against his oh-so-flowerful phrase, he was smiling from ear-to-ear. Rainy Seocho-gu happened to be such a lovely place, and a part of Seoul Minho hadnât ever been before. Unsurprisingly, the area was filled with elderly.
âWow,â he muttered as he entered, long umbrella having been stomped at itâs tip to rid itself from water droplets before he did so. The first thing to catch his eye was the entire section of little cacti, but his attention was, instead, taken by beautiful magnolias. âYou want that one? Youâve already decided? Letâs look around, more, though,â he insisted with a soft laugh, free hand resting on the otherâs shoulder as big eyes glanced around once more. Minho didnât remember the last time he had been in a flower shop, or if he ever had been.
It was quick, but Minho did happen to catch the little petal that took a graceful cascade onto the ground. âDonât think theyâre necessarily in need of an excited Kibum, either,â he mused, arm wrapping around Kibumâs shoulder to drag him from the crime scene.
âThe exhibit?â he repeated, genuinely surprised. âAt the window? Do you think it can survive there?â he wondered. It wasnât a bad idea, but he figured they should ask about the environments some of these plants were able to withstand, especially with the cold season and lack of sunlight.
âHow about a kid that doesnât have to work so much?â he grinned, eyeing the wall of cacti once again. âDo you think itâd be safe for the boys if we got a cactus?â he pondered aloud, stepping over to inspect them.

´ââOf course. thatâs where all the really special things go... right?â
As rhetorical as the question is, Kibum looks to Minho for an answer he already knows. âYaaah yaaah. I havenât, I havenât. Iâm still looking... You know, itâs hard when theyâre all so pretty.â Itâs more obvious that Kibum hadnât thought this through. Not entirely, anyways. He was acting on pure instinct to purchase a plant child- something thatâs been on his mind for months now. Of course heâd done his research on not one but many different kinds of plants. Some that needed the sun. Some that were safe for dogs, some that were relatively low maintenance ( in case of overseas schedules ). All signs of his research ( and Minhoâs walrus mouth ) had pointed to fall purchasing being a... well, not so great idea for typical house plants. Not even when heâs brushed away from pretty bold colors does he notice the fallen leaf that motivated the tallerâs actions.
âThese?â He leans into Minhoâs side, eying the arrangements of supple succulents arranged in such a way it has him in awe, hand on either side of dewy cheeks as he gasps, stepping closer to anchor himself down to a crouching position. Some doned little blossom hats on their prickly heads while otherâs had only their thorns as accessories."Awwwwww! Look at them.... ah! Theyâre so freaking cute~â How fond he is translates into the grumble that consumes the term.Â
â--... for the kids. Iâm worried about that too,â He meshes his lips together pensively, just in time to hush his hum. âIâll have to train them to stay away, keep it out of their reach. If itâs a small baby like the ones at the bottom, itâll most likely be out of their reach. But you know- when they see something new theyâll zoom to it, maybe go for the heads since they look like toys. Something like this, the âballâ cactus,â Hand extended, he makes a loose gesture to the cactis in question, itâs thorny exterior a pending nightmare no doubt. Â
â I have the one with the arms- Saguaro on Keychin. They pose wildly~â He shows off his best cactus imitation, crooked elbows and straightened elbows making up his look. âIf we get one thatâs young itâll take a while to grown arms and get taller- that means we can put it on a table, near a window. They wonât be able to get him.â Although he has his printed totebag at his side, he makes a round around Minho and reaches for his bag instead, a modern backpack, unzipping and rummaging through it.
âAre we allowed to take the hats, too? âÂ
