Pokemon Soul Silver paints done over the past few months I replayed Soul Silver for the first time since it came out (2010? Goodness) and got hit with intense feelings, I love this game so much. I had always enjoyed the dynamic between Lyra and Silver, and wanted to imagine how they'd look in a timeskip ( ⸝⸝´ ᵕ `⸝⸝)

Boy it’s been a WHILE. Thank you champs for sticking around over the course of this dry spell—and speaking of soulsilver,

This may be my last soulsilver post for a while—in fact, I’m hoping to post more original character-focused pieces from now on. I have a lot of thoughts that I’m really looking forward to sharing, whether it be here or a new blog (don’t worry, I’ll link it on this blog if I ever move)

The reason I’ll likely be moving on from sss is because the OCs I’ve created are loosely based around these two in the first place. (You’ll know when you see them, trust me.)

These two have been a comfort for me for so long; I’ve established countless headcanons for them, but for a while now I’ve felt shackled—in a sense—to their source material. And, let’s be real, my portrayal of Silver has become somewhat detached from his canon counterpart over the past couple of years, and Lyra’s depiction/characterization is entirely different depending on the creator LOL

So, what started as an sss au (you can find remnants on my blog, if you’re curious) has now become a more full-fledged story project that I work on in my free time! (Though school has prevented a lot of progression on that the past couple of months)

I’m very excited to share more in the future; I’m still bouncing back from a bad art block, and the rest of this year is going to have me busy once again, but it feels really good to finally share this info here.
