Which of the characters in your ships are the most jealous, and how do they show it?
There's an assortment of characters within Sisterhood's universe who experience moments of romantic jealousy or envy - but the ones I feel display the most intense reactions are:
🤎 Silver refuses to admit it due to his severe emotional constipation, but he's jealous of several men who approach Kotone. Not all of them, however, or at least when it's someone like Hibiki, her childhood friend and neighbor who he's deemed weak. Those the redhead cannot scare away with a scowl and a snarl (and if necessary, a battle) are who earn the depths of his ire - mainly Morty.
Simply seeing the blond and the brunette standing side by side sickens Silver to the core - they look like the perfect couple, and even the other observers around them outwardly agree with this inner thought of his... The redhead is initially rather insistent on their relationship remaining a secret to the public - he believes this is for Kotone's benefit, because if word should ever somehow reach the masses he's the son of Giovanni, then her good reputation will surely be at risk. So though Silver desires inwardly to claim her as his and make a big scene out of it during those instances of extreme jealousy (this is a relatively common occurrence), he reluctantly refrains from expressing these sentiments in the form of exploding all over the men who stare at his girlfriend a second too long (meaning at all) or stand much too close to her (ten feet).
Kotone has taken notice of how his mood turns sour whenever Morty is present, but she isn't aware of why. Her assumption is the redhead may have lost a battle to him sometime recently and couldn't quite let it go - he doesn't mind so much losing to her anymore, but some others aren't granted any of that grace. But no, Silver's reason for resenting Ecruteak City's Gym Leader is jealousy and envy entirely - Morty is everything he wishes he was but never will be no matter how he tries and an apparent better boyfriend for Kotone, one without ties to a criminal organization. Truthfully, the brunette is as good and pure as a Togekiss in his eyes, so Kotone should be with someone who will treat her as she deserves. Yet, Silver can't release her; he continues clinging to her selfishly and still he struggles to convey his affections.
Silver never shares these feelings, with anyone - not even his Pokémon, as though if he does then they'll tell everything to Kotone through some means. These sentiments are bottled up inside him, building up steadily until one day Kotone just mentions Morty's name and Mt. Silver erupts. "If you like Morty so much, why don't you date him instead?! Go on! GO! You like him, don't you?!"
Unfortunately the redhead's response to experiencing jealousy is anger, except here in this moment, it's being directed toward the one he loves. Despite her attempts to reassure him, Silver is beyond reasoning with - so she lets out a sigh and walks away, deciding to give him time to cool. But after a few minutes pass, his heart nearly freezes in his chest when, "...What if she never comes back?" And then he's crying tears of anger - he's angry toward himself, ashamed and disgusted. He picks himself up and rushes out the door, only to almost knock Kotone, who was outside all along, down to the ground. The redhead wraps his arms around her, burying his face into her neck, "I'm sorry... I didn't mean it. I was stupid. Please don't leave me..."
Kotone holds Silver's face in her hands, wiping the tears from his eyes. She never had any intention of leaving him! But he has to promise her: never suffer in silence like that ever again.
🤎 Volo, from the moment he met her, developed a deep desire to occupy that special space within Akari's heart which is reserved solely for a lover. "Potest solum unum (There can be only one)." Despite this, Volo isn't so volatile towards his love rivals as one may expect of him - there's no true resentment towards them, he can't find it within himself to fault a man for falling in love with her radiance as he has! But he is of the belief they belong together.
Once Volo's plan has succeeded and this world is at last on the path to becoming what it should be, one devoid of pain and sorrow, he will set aside some time to find each of these men their true love - nobody will experience the lonely existence he was forced to endure.
However, does Volo behave in a petty manner towards them, at times? Does he demand more attention from Akari, entering her space as well as touching her as much as she will allow, while sending (not so subtle) glances towards whoever has provoked his jealousy? Does he sulk too? Oh, absolutely. He's a traumatized nineteen year old boy who definitely has developed some softcore yandere traits - all those encounters that Akari has with him aren't mere coincidence. Volo wishes to be with and know as much about her as possible, that's all!
In Hisui the most frequent provoker of his jealousy and envy is Adaman, but there's also Melli and Ingo. Adaman intends to marry Akari after she quells Lady Lilligant's frenzy, Melli brings her laughter, and as for Ingo... the Celestican is seeing things between them which simply aren't there. "Do you perhaps have a preference for older men...?" Volo, you can't just ask her that- But he does, and with all the subtlety of a Snorlax crashing through someone's ceiling.
Following the events of postgame however, whatever pettiness he held before is replaced with desperation. Volo feels he doesn't deserve her - he failed to bring heaven to earth, failed to make himself worthy of her, and he betrayed her... Yet Volo can't prevent himself from still reaching for her light. Afterwards, and once Hikari has brought him to her world, when Volo is jealous, he attempts to prove how useful he can be to her, since when one wasn't useful, to the Galaxy Team or the Ginkgo Guild... they were at risk of being cast out.
So Hikari returns from her duties as The Sinnoh League Champion to a suspiciously clean home, dinner preparations in progress, and Volo has run a bath for her as well. None of these actions are unusual, however - he does these things for her almost every day and is happy to do them! But Volo doesn't seem happy to Hikari. The smile he wears is a strained one and he's staring as though anticipating her reaching into his chest, taking out his heart, then tearing it to pieces at any second. Something obviously has happened. She wants that lovesick, nearly deranged look in his eye she's become accustomed to - so with surprising gentleness, Hikari reaches up to cradle his face in her palms (he instantly leans into her cool touch, incapable of resisting) and asks why he's afraid. Volo, he confesses everything after a moment of hesitation.
Why did she choose him and not Riley or Lucian? Someone with status, and wealth? Someone who never hurt her? This is far from the only time Volo grows jealous and fearful of losing Hikari (he would never recover), but thankfully all he requires is her attention and affection, reassurance, to banish those horrible feelings.
🤎 Juliana is the most jealous of all the protagonists - and with a father such as hers (and Florian's), how could she not have issues? He was and still is a serial philanderer who spoiled his mistresses instead of his kids, barely remembered their names, and made their mother miserable until she finally had enough and decided to divorce him. There's more to this, but this is the summary of Juliana's Tragic Backstory™.
The actions of Juliana's (and Florian's) father resulted in her developing some measure of suspicion towards not only men, but women as well - several of his mistresses were fully aware he was married with children, and as such she began to believe most men are prone to unfaithfulness and many women are shameless seducers. Juliana being (re)introduced to couples who do love and are dedicated to one another later in her life (such as her cousin Gloria's parents) softened this outlook (to a degree), but Juliana still bears deep scars from the horrible marriage her mother endured for years - you know it must have been a wretched wedded life, if she, her brother, and mother celebrate the anniversary of the divorce! Juliana has grown somewhat comfortable with the idea of their mother remarrying someday though.
She does still have a habit of exhibiting a little misandry. One day at the academy, a curious student asks the brunette about her boyfriend back in Galar, assuming that she must have one. Juliana immediately replies, "Ugh, what boyfriend? I'm not seeing anyone. And guys are just jerks..." And then Arven, who was eavesdropping on this conversation, from the other side of the classroom yells without any hesitation, "I know, right?! Guys are the worst!" Everyone stops what they're doing to stare at him. Juliana also states something similar much later at Blueberry Academy, and Drayton, he just has to ask, "So who broke your heart?" But after he learns the situation, he's dumbstruck then disgusted, "Okay. Wow. Uhh. Here's The Drayster's take on that: Your dad sucks."
Once Juliana eventually warms up to the idea of dating one of the boys, she proves herself to be a possessive girlfriend - but fortunately for her, each of her love interests is obsessed in their own way, and it's good for her peace of mind for the most part. And yet, Juliana has her moments, ones where she acts hostile towards other girls and demands to see her boyfriend's phone. Arven hands his over, no questions asked - Juliana is taken aback entirely by this response even though this is precisely what she requested of him. Kieran, if he owns a Rotom Phone by the time the two of them begin to date, becomes nervous and reluctant to relinquish the device, which upsets her further. She manages to wrench it from his grip then discovers the reason behind his odd reaction - he's taken quite a few candid snapshots of her.
Nothing creepy, however. All of them were taken during moments they were together somewhere, but Kieran still feels the need to beg for her forgiveness. "I'M SORRY, I'M SORRY, I'M SORRY! You must think I'm a creep, a weirdo, a freak-" but his self-deprecation is interrupted, by her pressing a kiss to his lips, "Oh, Kiki... I never should have doubted you!" Drayton also doesn't want to hand over his phone, and not because he has something to hide from Juliana, but he is aware this isn't a healthy request for her to make. And yet he does without a complaint since he flirted with other girls frequently before the two of them began dating, and he doesn't want to do anything which may risk him losing Juliana, especially after Drayton worked so, so hard to earn her trust and love... She makes him want to try, to make her proud of him.
And Grusha? He's the same age as Arven and Drayton, but his reply is, no, he and Juliana are going to talk about this like the adults they are - but she accuses him of hiding something from her, or rather someone, bursting into uncontrollable tears of frustration. Grusha's reply to them all is a simple, quiet, but firm, "Cool guys don't cheat on their partners." And this actually succeeds in calming her. She apologizes, sniffling the entire time, embarrassed and ashamed. Grusha pulls her into his arms, murmuring the two of them will have to work on this together. Juliana's actions are her own, but whenever he thinks about the effect her father left behind, and how he still won't leave her family alone, Grusha comes so close to losing his cool...
