It wasn't really until I started writing the Salvage rewrite that I grew an appreciation for Soul. As a younger reader, I just never really got the existential dread he was going through since so many other characters had these larger than life personalities.

Panel Redraw

I already did a panel Redraw with my favourite panel from the baba yaga arc, but that entire arc is peak Soul Eater art! I absolutely love the messy inky strokes.

Hi guys!! Today I had the wondrous idea to put together a little something I call ~Soultember 2024~. Essentially, it's like those Inktober challenges but it'll be Soul Eater themed and during the month of September!! I suddenly had the urge to set something up like this especially since I've been rewatching the anime.

Note: if you do decide to use these drawing (or even writing!!) prompts during any day in September, PLEASE credit me and make sure to tag me as well as tag the challenge, which I'll set as #soultember2024 !! I'm excited to see all the creations and ideas you are all capable of bringing to life :3

Please also don't forget to reblog, comment, share, and like so I know it's gaining traction!! It would make me very happy if everyone who wanted to do this challenge could participate<3

Of course, I will likewise attempt to participate. September is when I start my first year of college, so I'm excited but I'll be busy. That being said, don't feel forced to complete a work for each day!! I understand that life can be busy. Still, I encourage anyone and everyone who sees this who like Soul Eater to participate, even if it's just for a day!

Even if your art isn't how you'd like it to be, Soultember 2024 is a good way to practice composition, color, etc and to share it with others who will be able to appreciate your hard work<3 I hope this challenge will bring people closer together and serve as a lighthearted, fun activity to do whenever you may be feeling bored during the month of September.

Additionally: Feel free to use all / any of the prompts set for each date! I myself am going to try to hit all prompts, but don't feel like you have to.

Soultember Day 29 - Fav Scene Redraw

Howdy! I know this is late, but I sadly got busy during this month, but I still wanted to participate in this! I wanted to make sure I at least did this day's prompt (it is all I had time for and we are not gonna discuss the fact that I originally planned on drawing the entire scene...but I did not have the time or brain power for that....sorry!!)

(if anyone will let me, I will scream about this entire scene for hours on end so of course I had to draw it)

Anyway, thank you so much @rennikun for creating such a fun prompt list! I wish I could have done them all!
