he’s   lounging   on   his   bed,   eyes   downcast   as   he   scrolls   through   his   phone   when   he   hears   her   question,   causing   him   to   lift   his   head   .   everything   that   he   was   currently   doing   goes   out   the   window   —   when   you   have   a   beautiful   woman   dressed   in   nothing   but   your   shirt   ,   you   don’t   care   what   stupid   rumors   are   spreading   on   social   media   .   he   tosses   his   phone   to   the   middle   of   the   bed   and   crosses   the   room   to   her   ,   his   hands   immediately   going   to   her   hips   .   “   incredible   -   but   you   would   look   even   better   without   it   .”

alec watches warily as magnus approaches, his stomach squirming with a thousand butterflies. his eyes track the sparks that float from magnus' fingers, always in awe of the warlock's magic. he loves the blue of his magic, although he's seen it shown in reds, oranges, golds and blacks. whenever he shows his magic to alec, however it's always blue. ❛❛ um, i mean, you've never given me a reason to think that you didn't, so... yes? it's obvious? i guess... ❜❜ he swallows when magnus switches his glamour off and turns his cat eyes on him. he tells himself that he doesn't want the warlock to move closer, but he'd be lying. he does, by the angel, he does. he forces himself to stay still, after all there's nothing wrong with what they're doing and wets his bottom lip with his tongue. ❛❛ i'm your favorite, huh? ❜❜ he both wants to explore and hide from the feeling that shudders through him at being magnus' favorite and the way magnus says his name alexander, like he's drawing it out and savoring his name in his mouth. ❛❛ are you supposed to have favorites? ❜❜

❛   A FAVOR ? ❜ the word is repeated with a little scoff as lestat arches a brow. a brief second of confusion , then he can't help but grin at his human companion , mind rifling through the others thoughts. louis means to say that they'll avoid scandal. louis will have his family's approval. the city might show him more kindness than they do with rumors of something more going on between the two of them. ( * they won't ! doesn't louis know this ? ) ❛ i believe the only one who wins that favor is everyone but us , mon cher. haven't we both pandered to others a bit too long ?   it is certainly no favor to me to avoid you. ❜

❛   no , it's okay , you didn't wake me ----- i was awake already. ❜ a faint smile curves the victor's lips as he rolls onto his side , facing @soulwaned properly. the moon illuminates them through the wide wall of glass overlooking the ocean , casting pretty beams of silver over their sleepy forms. he's barely covered with the silky sheets , blonde waves perfectly preserved against the pillow his head rests on. were his under-eye bags not deeper than usual , he'd look like a picture of apollo himself. ❛   you okay ? bad dream ? ❜

the adrenaline is slowly draining away. carlos can tell by the way his limbs suddenly feel weak and his stomach churns. shaky and cold, battered and bruised in the sterile environment of the hospital room. it was all over. that was the crux of the conversation he had just had with his boss; a boss he hadn't seen in months since he went undercover. The rangers had what they needed.

with his hair cropped short; shorter than he's ever had it; split lip, tattered and faded crew-neck sweater, jeans and workers boots, he doesn't feel like himself. he feels like the role he's been playing for months. even being called 𝐑𝐞𝐲𝐞𝐬 feels weird, and that realization makes him want to crawl out of his skin.

The door opens and the sound pulls him from his thoughts .  " tyler . "   his husband's name leaves his mouth like a prayer and he's on his feet, moving towards him, in a second. forgetting about the split lip and the bruised knuckles as he wraps his arms around the man he has only seen in his dreams for months.

               Finn couldn't help but let out a chuckle as he rubbed the back of his beastly companion's neck. He wasn't laughing at her by any means, but her reaction to seeing a completely wild griffin being the best friend of a human farmer was something of a normal response to their unique bond.

"Would coming up and saying hello help? I got some dried meat you can throw to him if you'd prefer that instead?" And if she happened to say no, he wouldn't hold it against her. These wild beasts weren't for everyone's tastes.
