Hello everyone!

I haven't posted anything in a while as I struggle with a massive art block, but I still have my notifications on and I notice that many people relate to and enjoy my aromantic-centric art. I just want to say, I am glad my art has touched so many people and I want to thank whoever sees this who has been supporting me even though I am not active. You matter and your identities are valid.

Most of my arospec art was made to either raise awareness or to satisfy a personal wish to see more rep. I see now how many more people other than me feel seen by my art pieces, and I think I want to create more arospec art in the future and bring more attention to our under represented identities.

I had no idea that such a small Tumblr account such as mine could touch so many people and I want to do more of that in the future. For those of you who follow me for my other art, no worries I will keep on drawing other types of art too but I want to keep going back and having a focus on aromantism.

Sorry for coming into my art blog to talk about this but I’ve literally seen no one talk about this! I recently bought the second BNHA video game and I mained Hawks and I noticed that when he celebrates after a successful mission he speaks in his dialect!!!! Like, he usually refrains from speaking in his dialect in the manga and anime. But here you have him speaking in Kyushu dialect! I love this detail! 

[Also, so much character comes out of Hawks in the video game because in the manga/anime story we don’t get much of him outside of his assigned job (to make it vague for the anime watchers). ]

For those who wonder, what I mean by using his dialect: He says: よかね！(Yoka ne!) Which is the equivalent of いいね！(Ii ne!) in standard Japanese. I don’t know how translate it accurately so I will refrain from doing that but feel free to suggest translations, like I said, he says that after a successful mission so it is like a celebratory thing. Ii means good for literal translation.

Last semester I did a research paper on his dialect so I have been looking for moments where he uses his dialect and hearing him use it in the game made me so happy! I love my bird man so much... I wish he spoke in his dialect more~

I am very close to 250 followers......... 🤔🤔 what should I do to celebrate? I am not good with celebrating milestones...... 😅😅 I guess I'll have to start thinking about this more now that I am so close. If anyone has suggestions or something, you can let me know!

Haven't posted in a while but it's for a good reason, I am working on something big! I will try to draw something simpler to post soon though because I hate it when I don't post in more than three days and it's been way more than three days since I posted art.
