Y'know I thought I was over my sensitivity to a certain bell tone... turns out I just haven't heard the right one for awhile.
The original bell that created the sensitivity has long since been disposed of. And it's not like I'd ring it even if I had it.
The point is I'm not happy about my hypersensitivity to some sounds. And the way they immediately trigger strong emotions. The bell is the most extreme since trauma is attached but others have nothing attached. Like styrofoam squeaking makes me want to punch things.
Apparently there's a name for this kinda sound sensitivity...not that it helps me. The suggestions to deal with it are literally "Desensitize Yourself :D"
