La Union: Meeting SCPhils People
A year ago I joined Soundcloud Philippines, an online community where people post and share their covers and originals. It’s an online community for musicians and artists who wanted to meet fellow artists to exchange ideas or collaborate. Basically a community of people who loves music music more than anything.
They have events especially during Valentines, Christmas (which is also SCPhils anniversary), a Summer Soundwaves where they all gather for a get-together activity during summers. And ever since I joined that community, I’ve met talented people all across the country. Mostly online though. But some I’ve met whenever they drop by for Cebu for vacations/business purposes.
I’ve always wanted to meet these people who have such passion for music. Some I’ve gotten close with immediately even through online chatting and what not. It’s also through this group that I learned it was possible to do a collaboration with someone who is miles away from you. I also learned how to edit and mix to make my covers sound presentable.
Anyways, since I was in La Union for days, Tine (whom I’ve also gotten close in soundcloud) and Kuya Shon (famous for his sick instrumentals) happened to be residing in the same place I was staying for days. So we agreed to meet up at Kuya Shon’s Audiopeak Studio and made an on the spot collaboration.

I was so honored to have worked and spent the afternoon with two of Soundcloud Philippines' talented pipz.
Tine was kind enough to do a duet with me. That girl has one of the sweetest and most gorgeous voice ever and kuya Shon did the piano instrumental and mixing. Here is the audio file of the live cover. :)
