Things people have probably heard in passing while Steeljaw/Soundwave were together:

Clanging

Electrocution

Drilling

”It’s a success!”

”Scrap, put it in quickly- what did I just say?!”

Glass breaking

”I think it could hurt more than that”

“Did we just create life?”

They would be grabbing some parts from themselves to make a sparkling and when they come out of the room, steeljaws pack would just be super confused and wondering where, how, or why they have a sparkling.

The new kid would probably be calm but set on being a good spy like how soundwave is

Tbh I feel like they would be more weired out by the testing than if they were actually interfacing (But knowing soundwave, in my opinion, he wouldn't be fond of sexual intimacy) 🥹 BUT who says he would try 🫰

I think Steeljaw x Soundwave would be hilarious from the perspective of other characters

To the cons and less Earth-Savvy cybertronians, it’s Crazy Cult Leader who is convinced they can talk to Megatronus from the dead, who is smashing Megatron’s creepy right hand

But then there’s Bumblebee who’s the token Earth Guy

Strongarm: It looks Soundwave isnt just an ally to Steeljaw, but a romantic partner

Bumblbee, who’s seen Soundwave’s tendrils: *Internet Flashbacks*

Strongarm: …sir?

Bumblbee with a hundred yard stare: All that hentai…

Strongarm: SIR??? What’s a hentai? Is it a weapon?!

While scouting Bee sees Steeljaw in a mass of tendril wires. He drops the idea of confrontation and speeds off in a panic just to avoid seeing anything. Soundwave was just cuddling.

I feel like, in all honesty, Bumblebee would be weirded out, but not because it's them two or two males, but because the idea of soundwave having a lover is insane to think about 😭

He WOULD be their biggest supporter though 🥹🫰

I love the idea of Steeljaw and Soundwave being one of the freakiest pairings, but not in a sexual way.

We have Steeljaw grossing out people with some bullshit like “I wonder how you’d bleed if I slice your chassis” but then when they think Soundwave is going to chastise him for it he instead doubled down on the weirdness with more nonsense “I would find this acceptable in return for a thorough scan of your beastformer exostructure.”

Different members of the pack have walked in on many different things they cannot explain. Thunderhoof might just quit if he walks into Steeljaw’s quarters one more time to find their leader spread out on an examination table (as the notes suggested in the Steelwave/Soundjaws post) being prodded at and positioned by equipment and Soundwave’s wires, just to look at the doorway with a raised eyebrow and ask “what?” as if HE was the one being inconvenienced.

The interaction with steeljaws pack to them would be WEIRD

Thunderhoof might consider joining the autobots if he sees any weird ass thing again

Steeljaw honestly wouldn't care. He would be the type to be fine with being caught doing that stuff
