I just thought of something.

So like say Orion wasn't going to die from Megatron's blast to half his body, that he could survive and it was actually the energy of the planets core that finished him on the way down.

So what if, Orion doesnt become a Prime because the moment Soundwave sees D16 drop Orion he instantly transforms and rescues him, he can fly after all and he takes him away.

Yes this is self indulgence for me

And looks after him, himself, he has to take Orion into hiding now because there's no way a mech that crazed isnt coming to try and finish the job

I just finished playing silent hill 2.

My mind now clear.

I then thought of Transformers one and no not a silent hill Au though I'm sure Shockwave or Soundwave could with their vibes in some series make an excellent a pyramid head.

Pushes that to the side my mind is a little all over the place but anyway.

I was thinking of Transformers one and what if our merry band of mechs didn't get their cogs before they came across the seekers, at least the first time.

They see the roaring red lithium flames and carefully scout the area, being quiet and so much smaller. (This is one time Bee knows to shut up.)

Orion manages to find someone's small stash of extra energon and is trying to grab some when light washes over him and he's met face to face with Soundwave who stares at him.

The older mech can see then stunned fear in those blue optics , the hole in his chest that shouldnt be there. Something terrible has happened to this creature he's looking at who's desperately holding four cubes to himself.

He stares, watching him tremble and twitch, he's not how old he is, but Soundwave is fascinated...be it in awe of this small mechs beauty or is it the size bringing in some carrier instinct he has not felt in years...there isn't enough time to consider it though as Starscream starts coming up behind him asking what he's up to.

Soundwave casually puts the panel down and turns informing him he thought he heard a noise, and that it was nothing more than some local wildlife he scared off.

Orion however will never forget that moment and the mercy Soundwave gave him...maybe he can repay him somehow .....

And then a day later when D16 is nearly blasting Starscream's face off and Orion's noticed how Shock , Star and Soundwave seem too all remain close together he stands up for him. Not just for D16's sake or even Starscream's. He simply hopes it is enough to repay the debt.

Soundwave...is intrigued to say the least.

I dunno, was just a thought...eh

What if back during the gladiator days, Soundwave and Orion Pax were both pining for Megatron, who was too focused on starting the revolution to be open to romance with either of them. What if Soundwave and Orion found solace in each other, both knowing who they really wanted to be in berth with, but eventually developing what started in shared misery into something more?

Cue the WAR.

When Optimus Prime forgets himself and reverts to Orion and is working on Project Iacon on the Nemesis, he gets lonely fast. The other 'Cons avoid him, including his good friend Megatron. As he had in the past, Orion turns to Soundwave, pestering him for companionship. Soundwave is reluctant, but Megatron orders him to keep Orion occupied so he doesn't prematurely discover the truth about the war and his role in it. So Soundwave is stuck mechsitting Orion, who keeps trying to rekindle things between them in increasingly persuasive ways...

Soundwave already lost Megatron to madness. He doesn't want to go through any more loss. He needs to keep his distance from Orion, who will eventually figure out he's Optimus Prime and Soundwave's enemy, yet Megatron ordered him to do otherwise. Soundwave is good at following orders. He's also good at deception, like any 'Con. But he has too many plates spinning in the air, too many secrets kept from too many different parties. One of those plates is sure to come crashing down.
