They stretched and got themselves ready to go, ignoring Derek giving Toshi a proper goodbye kiss, they hadn’t had much time together in this outing, so he accepted it with a slight smirk. They did notice they felt somewhat tired though, which was not normal, then again, nothing about this mission was normal.
Derek: So? Yanni: He said the same to me.. He said shapeshifters. Derek: Same.. he seemed happy someone believed him too. Relieved.
They had made sure they both had a talk with Tommy fairly early on, so they could have lunch and talk it over.
Derek: Anyone else feel the same? Yanni: Not so far, but.. I noticed Marlene looking our way, she is much too weak to speak, but.. Derek: I’ll go talk to her.
