Saw something about learning guitar earlier? I learned some guitar with a tutorial-type book, then went to cover/write songs on my own. My dad taught me a bit, and I had this really great teacher somewhen in the past too. Maybe you could try picking up a few books on it and getting lessons? Semi-private and private have usually worked best for me. All the better if you can convince someone you know to help out. As with any other instrument, it's all a matter of practice. ;P Good luck!

it just doesn't look right to a reg trombone player who dislikes the valve trombone because of the lack of slide. trombone=slide and there's a lot being taken away when you remove that. my feathers are still ruffled after the saxobone

For that one anon asking about grimdark Mages of Space.

Rose (Seer of Light) went grimdark by seeing into her magic cue ball (Thing used to predict fortunes). Jade went grim after being possessed and manipulated (Manipulation is what Witches do) through her mind (the “seat” of one’s creativity).

Going grimdark would therefore probably have person doing <action of class> with <aspect-related something- acts like a “conductor” of influence>, or having action done to them with thing. Soo…. perhaps the Mage of Space would go grimdark by trying to understand the horrorterrors in some way? The conductor would have to be something that has to do with physical being (could be almost anything, really- as long as horrorterror influence an get through). If I were in a session, I would probably go grimdark from trying to understand all the space in the medium- including the space occupied by the horrorterrors. I’ve never seen mages as a kind of manipulating class- I think Witches fill that role far better. It’s been more of a class that has/gains knowledge of aspect. God tiers are all able to manipulate their aspects to some degree, but with different emphasis on offence/defence/knowledge/etc. That all being said, I highly doubt the likeliness of a Spacey Mage going grimdark– It’s possible, but the chances of even any space player going grimdark are unlikely- especially since most to all space players are Prospit dreamers. Jade had to be manipulated by The Condesce to do so, so she’s likely an exception. -SoundShifter, Mage of Space
