“Loving another man is not a demonic act” MNEK has responded to a homophobic YouTube commenter, stating “loving another man is not a demonic act.” The R&B star took to Instagram to call out a commenter on his ‘Tongue’ video, who stated that the clip was “so wrong” and saied “you can clearly see a demon is in control of this guy and is doing this gay thing so it can poison minds.” MNEK wrote: “First of all, i’d like to say a continued thank you to everyone who’s been supporting ‘Tongue’ still – it means the world.” first of all, i’d like to say a continued thank you to everyone who’s been supporting #TONGUE, still – it means the world. @bradleyandpablo and i took a risk and i’ve received such amazing messages from people old to young, black to white saying how much they’re enjoying my music. SoundVent has been in the works for years. There have been many roadblocks, many failures, and times where it seemed like giving up would be the best thing to do. There have been several individuals that have told me that the idea was dumb (some directly, some indirectly). People have told me that I'd never do it; that it is impossible to do what we are trying to do, but I've kept on with it. From streaming music and selling products, to networking and booking tours, to marketing through social media integration... plus a few secret surprises... SoundVent is built and the music industry will have a real home for the first time in the internet age. We are applying the final touches before it is released. Thanks to the friends and family and small amount of people in the music industry that already know what it is we are doing that have shown encouragement and support. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
