Soundway presents the unique results of a one-off 2018 meeting in Marrakech between Belgrade-based tribal/techno/industrial outfit Tapan and the nomadic Touareg electrified desert-blues group Generation Taragalte. A dark, desolate and potent collision of the electronic drone-jazz of Belgrade and the windswept, desiccated psych-guitar riffs of the Moroccan Sahara.

Felbm - Tape 1 / Tape 2 (Soundway)

Felbm just announced a new single for Tapes 3 & 4 (out in the Fall on Soundway Records) which jogged my mind about how much I loved Tapes 1 & 2. The project of Dutch multi-instrumentalist Eelco Topper, Felbm is a spaced out journey into the past with a modern twist. Tapes 1 & 2 span over 15 tracks but flow so effortlessly across peaceful landscapes of soft jazz and yacht rock. With Felbm, Topper calms and comforts as he lulls you into peaceful daydreams. Background music never sounded so good.
