god if only sunnyland productions had a tumblr too so i could reblog a post about his video regarding problematic creators and how dead end paranormal park tackles it and stuff cause i watched it just now and it brings up some valid points

tadc situation is pretty messed up tho , obviously what those ppl behind the scenes including the creator themselves did and said was not okay at all, it definitely leaves a poor taste in my mouth considering I was gonna come up with a project where one of my characters would be singing the ep 8 song

hopefully ppl will understand that if I go through with that they won’t think im endorsing anything problematic and enjoy the song and the show’s themes without that sort of attachment to it as I’d hate to be accused of being racist but at the same time I’d hate to ignore how Black ppl feel about it bc what they feel is completely valid

and side note: obviously if the first letters of the word negative sound like a slur you OBVIOUSLY wouldn’t keep joking about it and justifying it even after SEVERAL YEARS right?????? good god the utter audacity to be foolish and ignore Black people’s voices and have problematic history my GOD it’s basic DECENCY but anyways . Sigh . I’m tired . I’m so tired

while we’re at it I would strongly advise not making fun of fans of problematic media in general or being like “I knew something was up” or “finally something that justifies my unreasonable hatred for this thing” like that just doesn’t help 😭 can we be sensible here guys, as long as we don’t endorse it I mean y’know

Update: i feel like i don’t have any right whether to say we should separate art from artist in this situation (you guys can be the judge of that) but one thing’s for certain, i’m gonna do my best to engage with tadc related stuff less and less and like i said before if that musical animatic thing featuring the 2 tadc songs i have in it planned actually does come out im putting a huge disclaimer at the beginning . otherwise im most likely gonna shelve it . it was a pretty ambitious project featuring my ocs that I put a lot of pressure on myself to make anyway and it would relieve some of the burdens . but if you have any concerns with what I’m saying in this post or want to offer critique or advice please let me know and do it in replies/reblogs and do so respectfully thank you

Tomo 🍅 - Anglerfish (b/c they're very spooky and they honestly give me deep sea creature vibes)

Collie 🌱- Manatee (b/c he's chill as hell and manatees are herbivores so I thought it was fitting for the nature lover)

Cere 🎀- Octopus (tbh im not exactly sure why, it just seemed really fitting for her)

Eternal Stockpot saga, part 4

it serves with one spoon and eats with the other.

suddenly, i understood. up to that point i had been solely focused on what the Broth had taken from me. i had not thought at all about what it might have given in return.

but before i could reflect upon this further, the Soup Lord said, "why have you come to this dry and Soupless land? for is it not true that you love Soup and do desire Soup above all things?"

and i said, "o Lord, i do love Soup and do desire Soup above all things. it was not of my own free will that i came to this dismal place. the Broth did send me here."

and the Lord said, "the Broth did nothing, for the Broth only exists, and does not act. it was you who chose to climb into the Holy Stockpot, you who chose this pain."

and i was humbled, for i knew the Lord was right. i had climbed into the Pot. i had let the Broth dissolve me.

and the Lord said, "Child of Soup, why did you choose this pain?"

and i thought about this, and said, "o Lord, i choose this pain because it is the price of Enlightenment."

and the Lord said, "you speak of prices, yet you do not understand cost. tell me, Child of Soup: what is the difference between an experience and what may be derived from it? between this Sacred Pain and the Enlightenment that follows?"

and i thought about this, too, and said: "time, o Lord?"

and the Lord said, "perhaps, but answer not with vagueness. what is time?"

and kneeling there upon the hot sand, i did reflect upon the Lord's Word. what was time? my first thought was that it was a kind of a soup. but... i didn't really believe that. that was just a remnant of the old me, the naïve optimist who went around saying that everything was soup, just because he could not stand the idea of something not being soup. it was delusional thinking. deep denial. fear of pain.

but all of that had been boiled away. leaving only my non-self and the vast, dry emptiness around me that was not soup, could not possibly be soup.

and i said, "i have no answer, Lord, for i do not know."

Ok so my announcement is that I need to be honest with myself and this blog about something: and it’s that my interest in crk has been dwindling lately mainly because I have no storage to download it anymore and I know I could watch the stories off of YT but it just isn’t the same as playing firsthand for me

plus the updates have been getting overwhelming and when I did have the game still downloaded it would crash often

also I’ve heard a lot about people saying how worse the updates have been getting and hearing a lot of the negativity has kinda discouraged me from getting into it fully again I suppose? I know I shouldn’t let the opinions of others get to me like that but mentally I just feel pretty down from it so idk

I love licorice cookie still but the excitement from seeing him appear is every once in a blue moon these days because I rarely see new content of him anymore, aside from ovensmash stuff (his debut is so cool I can’t lie even tho im not into that game 😭)

I’ve talked about over and over on my blog how I’ve been focusing more on OCs now than ever before and Tomo especially (who was once shipped with Twizzly Gummy even though I barely made art of the two 😭) has been rotating in my mind since at least August

she’s got her own story where she was once an actor on a kids show that got cancelled abruptly and is now lost media, but a fan named carrot cake is trying to put the pieces together

there’s more to it than that but if you wanna see more of the soup lore and what it has to offer, feel free to stick around ! otherwise I’m not gonna be posting as much licorice cookie or cookie run stuff as much as I used to anymore and my blog is gonna have a bit of a shift in its theming

oh yeah speaking of cauliflower soup, he’s gonna be in this upcoming thing I’m making where he has his own separate lore from the cookies running one! For he was once involved in a kids show that got cancelled for “creative differences” and he was one of the 3 main actors of the show, a mediator, pure of heart chill dude (almost too chill) who tries to see the good in others, and yes, that includes whoever was shady enough to cancel that show, poor guy </3

CONTEXT!

yes it has come to a point where two ocs in this comic that i shipped with cookie run characters have been getting their own lore lately stay with me here

and you’ll notice that @ erasercapproductions on the top right is me lol i have different urls…..

anyways

spoiler alert: no fires were eaten in the making of this comic

this little comic is a silly introduction to the “soup lore” which focuses on situational events surrounding the cancellation of a kids’ show that everybody forgot a long time ago, but why? was it better that it was forgotten?

I’ve had this concept rotating in my head since August 2025 and want to do more with it but im not sure if I should make a separate blog for it, leave it on this blog, or move it to the @erasercapproductions blog…… but for now I’ll post stuff about it here until I figure it out or unless you guys have any suggestions idk lol

the characters featured in the comic:

Left: Collie (Cauliflower Soup, originally shipped with Licorice Cookie) (he/they)

Middle: Cere (Cereal Soup, originally shipped with Eternal Sugar Cookie) (this is their first debut so any previous content of them is kept to myself because I’m still trying to figure out this character) (any pronouns)

Right: Tomo (Tomato Soup, originally shipped with Twizzly Gummy Cookie) (she/they)

The cast of a children's show (The Soup Kitchen Show) and the network executive argue over a potential cancellation of the show due to "creative differences" as well as "questionable role models"— things go south quickly.

btw Hiii idk if people usually engage more with YouTube links or videos embedded on Tumblr more ? I’m still new to posting OCs and such on the site even if I’ve been here for a few years, I don’t exactly know how the “algorithm” works if there even is one or not but yea lol

at least 2 of these guys were originally cookie run/crk ocs at some point (tomo and collie) and have now been transformed into a thing of my own making still at play here (rubbing hands evilly)…… pls stick around for more if you have even the slightest of curiosities, no pressure tho of course………
