OKAY SO im actually proud of the character design on the crew cause it means a lot to me and im trying to Do A Thing with it
silas and alicia are shaped the way they are on purpose, a lot of curved lines and round shapes and theyre both pretty short and wide for a reason. lots of dark warm colors too like reds and pinks and browns cause theyre supposed to be Homely and Comfortable, cause theyre like a family and theyre meant to make you feel safe. also yes silas is supposed to look like prince charming and zapp brannigan had a kid, and alicia is supposed to have all of the practicality of overalls with the sexiness of short shorts.
MEANWHILE nash and phoebe are the whole opposite. way too tall and imposing, and both of them are deathly thin with big sprawling limbs and sharp edges. nash has lots of cold colors like blue and grey with phoebes signature teal, and she is just someones disney fairy cosplay fantasy gone wrong. even their faces and hands are sharp straight lines. not a whole lot of curves and if there are any theyre narrow and necessary. cause these two are dangerous and spooky. But, nash was designed By phoebe, which is why he wears a lot of her colors. if it were up to him he wouldnt but. its not
