Question everything you read on tumblr. Even my posts.*
I've seen opinion presented as fact, quotes misattributed to philosophers who said no such thing, passages from modern novels presented as authentic incidents from ancient mythology, mislabled photos, and inaccurate historical dates...not to mention fake news about current events.
Ask (politely) for sources. Double-check, triple-check, do thorough research before accepting anyhing as fact - especially if it's something that could potentially change your views about something important. You don't want to look like an idiot in class - or regret voting for a candidate - because of misleading or incomplete information. You definitely should avoid making a decision about your health, or that of a pet, based on unfounded information.
