“Do you want my scarf? You look cold.”
Arthur was indeed cold, it was hard not to show it since he was without even a jacket, but was he going to admit it? No of course not. He shook his head, and spoke through his teeth, “No I’m not cold.” He was simply trying to keep his teeth from chattering and was winning so far. He stuffed his hands further in his pockets and hunched over slightly, trying to retain as much body heat as possible an using his ‘always in a foul mood’ image as a cover. At least it wasn’t snowing yet. “When the bloody hell is this going to be over? I have things to do.” He grumbled more to himself than anyone around him. He didn’t really but he wanted to be out of there as soon as humanly possible.
