Rua dos Barbudos, Sousel, Alentejo, Portugal.
Portuguese tiles. Captured on a town in Upper Alto Alentejo called Sousel.
More Portuguese tiles. From Sousel.
Leftovers from past road trips (15): Sousel.
The quiet streets of Central and Upper Alentejo (9): Sousel
This is the closest thing to an historical centre that Sousel has to offer. It’s fine, but not amazing, to be honest. Don't get me wrong, Sousel is an okay place - the problem is that, for me, an okay place is not enough.
One more pillory. This one was built in the XVI Century, rebuilt in 1942 and can be found in Sousel, the only municipality of the Portalegre District where I had never been... until now.
For those who like beautiful doors.
