In the Scree Garden of the Beth Chatto Garden, Essex, the Iris unguicularis 'Peloponnese Snow' (Algerian Iris) was in full bloom - what a beautiful plant. It needs a sheltered, free draining and sunny site - I'm sure I can find space for one of these in my garden!
