in Sonic 2006, Shadow is depitched as a lefty, but sometimes they did fail to portray his fighting stance. In the well known part against Mephiles istead they did right.

The one thing IDW comic tend to get right

Shadow being a lefty. It was noticeable in the last issue, where he was going to use a sword (then cancelled). But is a while I see this trait.

The sword

I love the consistency in this.

I hope the next time Shadow has to use a tool, and this time for real, being a weapon or just a pen, a cutlery, chopsticks or a wrench, it will be in his left hand.

Other examples

Dominant hand is back, usually. I had to research because I can't figure out wich pose is the left handed. When I tried it felt the same.

This gesture - reaching out - is very telling.

Being a mixed/having a weak lateralization makes me hard to me to figure out what's right handed and what's left handed, despite being strong at identify right and left.

I don't know much about how consistent is handedness normally.

If IDW will someday fix Shadow, making him more Maekawa'ish, please, don't fix his handedness.
