To save camera/phone battery (the charging stations were cut-throat) I didn't take either with me very often to the actual festival area! So just to recap, everyone who I saw on this best weekend of my exchange/year/lifeeeeeee: FRIDAY: little dragon, florence & the machine, the kooks, MUMFORD AND SONS, bonaparte, justice SATURDAY: switchfoot, spector, twin shadow, bombay bicycle club, die antwoord, boy, the shins, temper trap, steve aoki SUNDAY: ed sheeran, sportfreunde stiller aaaaand last but certainly not least, blink 182
Of course there were more between shows and such. Just have to say that Mumford & Sons changed my life. Best show I've ever seen. I've also been telling people that Friday was the best day BY FAR...but after this recap I'm now thinking that Saturday didn't look so bad either. The Shins were likely my favourite on Saturday. As if I'm talking about all of these bands so casually, ugh! Sunday was a great big ball of ridiculousness that I'll remember forever. The butter tent being the highlight. Oh life, you are too good. Still in awe of this weekend......
