They bring up Black's law dictionary and start quoting some antiquated law that means nothing in a court of law in 2020. A lot of the law that they bring up have been amended or haven't existed since the 19th century. You see them and wonder where they've gotten their info from. Well this man right here. Reverend William P Gale who was a Colonel at one time, as well as someone that was looked at as a possible conspirator in the JFK assassination. Gale was the founder of the Posse Comitatus, Christian Identity, and Aryan Nation movements. He also was the head of the paramilitary outfit Committee of the States. Some of these black folks you encounter online have an issue with the 14th amendment. That comes from Gale, who was following the rhetoric of the Confederacy, like them he rejected the legitimacy of the federal government because the 14th Amendment was passed in the Reconstruction period following the Civil War. The former Confederacy hated the 14th Amendment because it essentially was designed to protect the rights of the freed slaves. Gale's answer was to insist the only legitimate authority in each county was the sheriff. His Identity Church wasn't one that anyone black wanted to find themselves at. If you look at what he preached it's what some woke black folks talk. This dude was talking about being the tribes of Israel, claiming ancient civilizations that had nothing to do with him. He would say things like, "You cannot get the USA out of the word “JerUSAlem"... and "To those who would dispute the position that present-day Christians of the Adamic race are the Israel (Ish-Ra-Eli) of the Bible, we make our position clear. This truth is ordained of Jesus Christ whom we know to be the ONE and ONLY God of Israel. He is the Creator of the Universe; the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost, all ONE."
