Morality.
Morally, Tony Stark is a consequentialist. The rightness or wrongness of an act depends on its consequences, and not some universal quality of the act itself. In this way, Tony only has a relationship with killing insofar as he responds to individual acts of murder or other forms of homicide.
Lies.
PUT A WORD IN MY ASK AND I WILL WRITE A HEADCANON ABOUT IT FOR MY MUSE.
Lies:
Contrary to popular belief, Steve does lie. He tells little white lies, sometimes bigger ones when the situation calls for it. He is human, and often times, others forget that.
He’s lived through betrayal and infiltration centered around lies and deception, some among the people he trusted most. This taught him most of all that he stands for what America should be and what it strives to be, not what it has become - corrupt.
Tony punched the bag in front of him over and over again, letting all his frustration out. Pausing, he wiped his face of all the sweat and paused, panting softly, turning he noticed someone walking in. “Hey Tasha.”
