It’s Friday my dudes

So it’s Friday again, and the rest of the weekend I’ll be busy as heck, as well as most of next week, so tonight will be spent finishing a chapter for a commission, and hopefully I get to start writing the drabbles, and after that I’m planning on watching some old teen movie and chill hard af lol

But the whole «let’s talk» thing from last weekend was nice as heck and I really wanna do something like that again!

I kinda wanna keep it light and fun tho, so...

Going back to the Kenny/Butters comparison, When Butters took his place for a bit, they would always guilt-trip him, wanting him to be more like Kenny. But, Butters is not Kenny, Kenny would do stuff for his friends yeah, but he's not as gullible and he doesn't take shit from Cartman without a word to say about it! Butters just tries to please everyone. I think Kenny could see that, so I really liked it when he was considerate to Butters in "Going Native" I would like another ep with them!

It’s weird too Kyle, Stan, and Cartman never really tried to guilt trip Kenny into doing anything as much as they did Butters…except maybe that time they tried to convince him to give them his baby teeth for the tooth fairy but even then Kenny put up a fight where as Butters would have just gone along with it. So it was kind of odd to me when the others would say something like “Kenny would have done it….Kenny would have strapped balls on to his chin and go on a freak show…” really? Nah Kenny would have had more dignity and more pushback. He’d want something in return and you couldn’t have fooled him so easily with an empty reward. So no I don’t think Kenny would have done some of the things they had asked Butters to do. 

Kenny will in fact do what it is necessary to help ,a sacrifice even, but he’s not gulliable. Butters though he seems to be learning and growing less gullilable even growing a bit of a backbone. But still they’re pretty similiar you know. In “Going Native” it was nice to see them interacting and showing a friendship. I would love to see more of that. 

And also let’s not forget the Mysterion vs. Professor Chaos dynamic. Wished they had taken more advantage of that in TFBW and the Superhero episodes. Esp love the very first time Mysterion showed up in South Park and shows up to confront Professor Chaos and Chaos has the right reaction in flailing about in fear. Imagine when he found out Mysterion was Kenny all along. XD

[Okay, so correct me if I'm wrong, but is it possible that the New Kid is the New Kenny? Like, think about it; they go along with the other kids' (mostly Cartman's) ideas and plans, they have their own shit to deal with, and since Kenny's been off doing his own thing and Butters and Tweek aren't exactly following along either, it would make since that they'd, at least in part, have the New Kid follow along. I don't know, I was just thinking about it.]

I’ve thought of this too actually. I’ve set up my New Kid to be as close to Kenny as possible in TFBW like with the DNA bit, their costume, etc to begin with. 

But the thing that struck me as odd is in the Stick of Truth the New Kid actually dies twice. They die on the space ship that crashes to Earth(no way they’re surviving that), and the next one well they get crushed to death. And what happens next? They wake up in their bed....so in the superhero Trilogy Mysterion admits when he dies he normally wakes up in his bed like nothing happened...so in my book ha either New Kid is New Kenny or they’re related to Kenny or they share some kind of supernatural-like curse bond or something of that nature. Just a possiblity. *shrugs*

Kenny and Butters seems like the same case, but for different reasons. (Kenny is Butters' best friend for the sole thing of not being egotistical or self-righteous, nor has he ever [personally] taken advantage of him. He treats Butters with respect. The other way... Again, close enough but not to a personal level. That connection hasn't been hit yet. Sure, they have certain similarities, but Kenny is a "grin-and-bare-it" person. Unless you can relate, he isn't spilling his guts trivially)

And both take the most hits out of the main four. Kenny is more tough about it but when the group is in trouble it's either Kenny or Butters who end up paying for it. Not as much for Kenny these days though. But it’d be no wonder if these two were good friends.

I definitely think Kenny sorta lacks a person he can personally connect with. Someone he can spill his guts to and they wouldn't think he's crazy or pity him. It's always the other way around. (I would also like to see him interact with other characters that isn't the other 3. Interact as in, we get SOMETHING out of it. There's been one too many missed opportunities with this, or they don't last long enough to get a vibe)

Yeah, there’s not too many people he can really confide with or talk to about his problems. Kenny’s always the one who listens hardly ever the one listened. He could use a really good friend he can go to for his problems, though it’s pretty rare for him to even complain. 

And it is very rare for him to interact with the other chars. The few we got to see was Butters and a bit of Timmy in the Fractured But Whole game. But...generally nothing much more than that.

Just letting peeps know I got their Kenny/Mysterion ideas/theories/etc and plan to answer them. Been working some long hours the past few days but don't worry I will get to them if not tonight then probably Friday.In fact if you want you can send me more/new Kenny/Mysterion/Princess Kenny any kind of Kenny stuffs and I'll get to those as well. :-P

Do you think Kenny's parents ever feel bad that they basically doomed their son of this horrible curse all cause they went to that damn cult meeting? Probably not, but...god I wish they had elaborated what happened more with that. Like, he can't even confide in his own parents cause they're always either drunk, high, or fighting with each other.

You know I’d like to think maybe his parents do in fact feel pretty bad about doing whatever they did to their son. And they seem to be the ones most aware of him dying and coming back, of course if he normally rengerates that way I’m pretty sure it’d be hard to forget(though there was the one time he just materalized out of nowhere with no literal rebirth *shrugs*). I would think there’s some level of regret for their child having to go through it. But yeah maybe one day in the future they’ll come back to it. (ha prob not but I assumed M&T would sooner or later bring it up one day maybe.) 

The McCormicks aren’t the best parents ,though I wouldn’t consider them the worse either, it would be nice if we had some more spotlight on them as a whole family. I mean it seems like they care about their children but they could be there for them more if that makes sense?
