Race Summary Time.
Best drivers of the race: Max Verstappen, Daniil Kyvat & Romain Grosjean - Max made some excellent moves in the race, driving like a true fighter. I don’t think the Toro Rosso was actually that quick, but he was pulling off some stunning overtakes and generally driving like someone who has a lot more time in race cars than a 17 year old would. He was controlled yet aggressive and showed true pace. The same goes for Kyvat, he drove an aggressive race and made minimal errors. Just another stand out performance. Romain pulled a Lotus that shouldn’t be that good to almost a podium, and then a podium, while driving very cleanly and with great precision. He made none, if very few errors and pulled off quite the achievement for his team.
Worst drivers of the race: Kimi Raikonnen & Valtteri Bottas - No one had particularly standout “bad” drives, but Kimi and Bottas both seemed off song and just out of form. Neither of them were moving up the field and I think they had the car pace to do it. Bottas was thrown off by the pits, but both just had mediocre races with small mistakes that added up. Move of the race: Cliche, yep, but Max’s move on the Sauber of Nasr round the outside of Blanchimont. Seat of the pants, a real old school move. Off the track in the dirt half way round, and then managed to pull it up and move past. Excellent. Overall: Spa 15 was a race that will probably be forgotten over time, it wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great. Probably will be remembered for Seb loosing 3rd with an exploding tyre. That was pretty crappy. But it was a good race in a lot of ways and I think it was a good representation of a 50/50 F1 race.

WHAT A TIME TO BE ALIVE.
Romain answered my question about how much you can actually see of the crowd while racing. HE SAID MY NAME.
