This titanic beast drifts through circumstellar debris fields, collecting minerals and other nutrients in its trawling apparatus.

I adore the idea of space fauna - creatures that live out all or part of their natural lives off-world, afloat in space. With A Good Haul on its way up, and all the inks for Earthling Stories: Sports Bar completed, I’ve got plenty of excuses to experiment with black and white in space!

Datestamp 1,340.2 :: We threw the Mech-Priest out of the airlock. It improved all our moods, just like we hoped. Tonight, there will be music, the voice told us. It filled our hearts, our minds.

Datestamp 1,386.7 :: It has been so long since the voice last spoke. It has been so long…

Datestamp 1,388.8 :: We listened to the voice once more. After a month of silence, it has finally told us what to do! Ah, if you could only hear it… the sound of the airlock opening and shutting, opening and shutting… We step out into the void ourselves, now. I do not who will be next.

Datestamp 1,423.6 :: Twenty eight bodies now dance, frozen in the solar winds. Only I am left.

(And a "blooper." I need to unbind the "come here" emote at some point. It's right next to my screenshot hotkey and sometimes hit it when trying to take a screenshot. Mildly annoying but it leads to amusing things like trying to "pspsps" an angry frighter fauna like it's a cat. (If you use it on a companion they actually come over!)
