The Aurora can travel through time too! It's never really addressed, but the Mechanisms lore is such a mess, that we know they have been to the future and we don't know what order any of their adventures happened in.

Breaking my vow of silence to say I voted for the Wayfarer <3 I know it stands no chance and also I never read the book it's from but it made the Nightwish song by the same name get stuck in my head and that song is so so good that it's the only propaganda I needed.
