Like, did the rebels’ feed him after they decided not to eat him but lend him an EMU and their only ship, instead? Okay but it’s incredibly messed up that they’re barely “only halfway joking” about eating an obviously sapient alien?! YEESH.
Or was he suddenly one day “I want SpaceRamen because these guys didn’t share!”
Or did they all three (maybe four if one of the Paladins convinced him to let them be his ride if he and Black didn’t visit when he still thought he was “Shiro”) share a meal together after Jiro got a chance to get them a spare set of armor and one of the larger pods? Honestly they probably don’t want that EMU back after Jiro spent a week in it with a festering leg wound...
