Sythris the Cruel led the drow of Iretos during Vollenth's War. She was slain and he supposedly claimed her skull as one of three dragon skulls in his throne room
In reality, the drow recovered her body and tried to perform a profane resurrection. Instead they raised her as a revenant, permanently tied to Vollenth
She stays in hiding puppeteering the drow by manipulating their theocracy. She has all the high priestesses under her command. As a living dragon she made a severe but effective leader. As an undead dragon she makes a terrifying but effective leader, using her drow to keep a consistent level of chaos above so Vollenth can neither win nor lose.
