The cat does come, eventually. He walks between the stalagmites, sits on the other side of the fire, and unbuckles his helmet. He places it on the ground, runs a hand through his hair. It’s only then that he notices the fire. He stares at it skeptically.
Loki raises an eyebrow.
Steve acquiesces.
I'm writing a scene for some OCs and coming to the realization that its just the Jayvik s2 divorce.
"person wakes up after harrowing experience in which they nearly died (and asked not to be changed before the death) gets changed by best friend who doesn't want to lose them and must now come to terms with what happened"

I love writing because sometimes you truly don't understand what's going on until after you've written it.
I had an entire conversation planned out for this fic and the charatchers went we’d actually like to talk about something else and it turned out to be way more plot relevant than what I had planned. So..thank you to them?
Writing a fight scene between two characters who don’t get along and discovering some vague tension between them is just I don’t know what’s happening, they don’t know what’s happening, the plot doesn’t know what’s happening, i promise i had a plan and this was not it.
