#Repost @danielkordan with @repostapp ・・・ ALMA was very strict in terms of medical examination: we needed to drive up to 5000 meters to see amazing radio telescope array. So we passed high altitude medical exam before the visit, and they checked the oxygen level all the time we climbed up to telescopes. It's really hard to breath and to move at these altitudes! You are just getting out of breath in a few seconds under the strong wind! So we picked up portable oxygen balloons with us, which helped a lot! We could move fast and stars seemed to be brighter while you breath oxygen. Another try on M42, the Great Orion Nebula. This time i tried to keep the color as natural as possible (according to my interpretation). A total of 12 exposures of 90 seconds each at ISO 800. I used a GSO 10″ f4 coma free Newtonian on a Neq6 Pro mount, guided with PHD using a 70mm refractor and a modified Logitech c920 webcam. The camera is a Canon 1000D with full spectrum mod proudly homemade by me following the Master Gary Honis tutorial  :)... and a cheap UHC filter
