cool things in life—i'm learning to cast resin dice! air bubbles are the bane of my existence but i think i'm getting better. the ones on the left are fresh out of the mold, so their numbers aren't inked in yet-
(and i hope you're doing well! FLOAT looks super cool from what i've seen!)
You’re MAKING DICE??? That is SO COOL.
Those colors look great! Will the light amber ones eventually cool down and turn into the red ones? I don’t know how resin works.
(And FLOAT is super cool, and it’s going well enough that I’ll finish it before November!)
not to, like, be too similar to the person who suggested 'jam' but you've sort of got Jay vibes? (maybe also a Sasha as well?)
omg okay wait this one is wild because i actually went by sasha for a while and i still adore the name.......absolute galaxy brain answer thank you so much
want to assign me a name?
Happy STS! If you were to move your WIP to another medium (film, theater, radio, novel, podcast, game, etc.), what would it be, and why?
Ooooh...
I think Wanderlust would be great as a (well-funded) TV show! There is so much potential with special effects for all of the magic, and the cinematography would be gorgeous with all of the landscapes that are part of the Great American Road Trip! There’s also a lot of montages that I’d love to see in a visual medium, since that works so much better there. Wanderlust is already written episodically, so it would fit the narrative structure of TV show seasons and arcs. It would also be great as a graphic novel as well!
Morsmordre is a Harry Potter fanfiction, so I would adore seeing it come to life like in the original HP films. Post-Script is also HP fanfiction, but because of its epistolary nature, it wouldn’t work on screen.
I’m writing a Dragon Age fanfiction, and it’s a mostly original story in the universe; the way me and my partner are planning it out are very must like ‘main quest’ ‘side quests’, etc., and I would love to actually play it as a video game!
Although I think that Project Vestige is best as a written novel, I do think that a Life is Strange-style video game might work well! Where you have to go find place memory, and maybe there’d be a journal with all the quotes, and some puzzle aspects to put together the mystery... With all the gorgeous graphics of Antium, of course!
Storyteller Saturday: Come ask me questions on Saturday!
C? (for the OC-starting-letter ask game?)
[Send me a letter and I’ll tell you about an OC who’s name starts with it!]
Oh, goodness, I have far too many important characters who’s names start with C, whyyyy.
Ahh, I’ll do Caelin, I suppose?
Full Name: Caelin Wysote
Nickname(s): Pup, Puppy, Pyrite
Hogwarts House: Gryffindor!
Gender: Genderfluid, shifts between She/Her, They/Them, and He/Him pronouns! You can tell which pronouns they’re using at that time by looking at the ribbons in their hair! Red = She/Her, Yellow = They/Them, Blue = He/Him!
Sexuality: Pansexual
Associated Song: Ça va ça va - Lou-Adriane Cassidy
Three Important Relationships:
Isabel García-Ramírez and George Atkins - These two are basically Caelin’s adopted parents! They all care about each other immensely, even despite the occasional squabble, and despite not being in a relationship, Isabel and George really do act like an old married couple.
Dione Nikolaeva - This is spoilers but, yes, Caelin sees Dione as an important figure in their life. c;
Two Fears:
Not being good enough. Being useless.
Not accomplishing anything memorable in their life. Passing the world with nothing to show for it.
Element of Backstory: Caelin was eight years old when they ran away from their neglectful home life. They ended up struggling to even scrape by, starving and lost, and at age ten, they were saved from drowning by a pirate named Isabel. Though the rules of the ship dictated children younger than 14 weren’t allowed on board, an exception was made for the “14 year old” Caelin, and from then on they were a part of the Diluculo’s family~
Thanks for the ask!!
Happy STS! If your character(s) were applying for a job, what would stand our most on their résumé?
Happy STS!
FOR IANTHE-- Probably the fact she spent time working in Egypt with her father. Father Holmes is an archaeologist who often took his daughter with him on trips before she was able to go off to college. She has first-hand knowledge with the pieces of her past and treasures them. One day, when the events of the book are long over, she hopes to eventually get a job in archival work.
FOR CADEN-- He’s worked with alcohol for longer than he was legally allowed, though he CAN’T mention that part. What he does bring up is that he used to work in a popular casino in Las Vegas before moving to New York. That reference actually landed him his current job at a burlesque club as the bar manager!
FOR JOHN-- Currently, he works as a partner in a law firm and got that job because of an internship he did in DC! Although he wanted to go into criminal law, it was much more lucrative for him to do financial. He has exceptional leadership, organizational, and persuasive skills, which benefit him both in his law practice and his position as the leader of the Order.
Happy Storyteller Saturday! What (or who) would your characters do absolutely anything for? Why?
Thanks for the ask @spacebrick3
I’ve got so many character’s it’s hard to pick! I asked my sweetheart for help & here’s the choices: Luc, Valentin, and Daria
Luc - before the Avtovo Gas Power Plant explosion would have burned the world for his soulmate Isaac. Actually, he was working on destroying those he thought had killed Isaac, when he discovered he was betrayed, during another betrayal that led to him meeting Jon following the SteelTruth Events.
With Isaac, he would have done or given anything because they were soulmates. They belonged to each other. That’s what soulmates do. He’s soulmates with Jon as well, but that’s not actually his guiding force with Jon.
Instead he’d do anything for Jon because Vansha would do anything for him. Even let him go if that would make him happy, despite the fact they are soulmates. He’s actively chosen, and that earns his loyalty, unwavering and dangerous to those who are enemies.
Valentin - he doesn’t have a person he’d do anything for, not any more, the closest he gets to that is his kids (all four, though Jon’s a new addition despite being the eldest).
Instead, he would do anything for his ideal: protect children at all costs. He doesn’t care if the child is his, if he knows the child, who the child’s parents are. He knows there are some things they cannot be totally protected from, but that doesn’t mean not to protect them whenever possible.
Daria - she would do anything within her power for those she cares for. Sometimes that’s a lot, sometimes it’s not much over all. Either way, she does whatever she can for them.
A lot of times, the best she can do is find out information or direct those she cares for to the information so they may work with it. That’s an important bit of personality and ability to have.

Happy Storyteller Saturday! If you could pick one song to represent your WIP, what would it be?
Thank you for the ask! I personally think Honey I’m Home by Ghost would be a really good representation for it considered Maxia’s relationship with his father and religion. It doesn’t help that I found out about their music just before I started working on this wip!
Warning for religious themes, alcohol use, and minor body horror
