is saying "te quiero" like saying "you mean a lot to me" or something similar? i'm not very good with spanish, so i'm just curious! ^^;

oh yeah def something like that!! its between “I like you” and “I love you”, someone uses it like example; when youre in a relationship but youre just starting it so you might feel like saying “I love you” is too strong, or to friends if you feel like “I love you” its more in a romantic way.

Tbh it always kinda bothered me that you cant say that word in other languages, because its such a middle ground if you think that “like” and “love” are either too weak or too strong to describe your feelings towards someone
