Goddess of Space.

A redesign of a character I hold close to my heart. Masked and Unmasked version. I tried a different painting technique, inspired by Reykat’s art.

Ripley is literally a child who only knows how to murder, or so Adam the cloak pilot ( @negativvekraken ‘s OC) thinks. So he tries to give her nice things that she never really had. Sometimes it works, sometimes... it doesn’t.

So have that random comic. There will be more. That’s a threat. Ripley became my obsession.

Hello, meet my Titanfall 2 OC, Ripley! Shes a Stim piloting Ronin class titan she calls Pluto.

I am experimenting with painting over my sketches, let me know how you like it.

Story:

When she was a human, she was a highly skilled and professional pilot. Kind and optimistic by nature, personal loss and life experiences shaped her into a mature and reliable person. She was an unstoppable force with her Ronin, Pluto, but she met a tragic end after serving on field for a bit over three years. She was crushed under heavy debris in an explosion of a facility she was scouting, her Titan didn’t get to her in time to save her.  Pluto removed her body carefully but he couldn’t do much more. They exchanged last broken words, before her internal bleeding and damage caused her death. After failing in completing Protocol 3, Pluto came back to the HQ with the body of his pilot. She was quickly taken to transfer her personality and skills to a simulacrum body. She came back, but the damage was done to her brain and not all of her was transfered. Primarily- memories were lost. It quickly came to those around her, that Ripley wasn’t the same as before her death, she came back to the cheerful and optimistic self that was buried under a lot of pain and scars gained during her life in military. And she didn’t care about the past-self, She could even get angry when someone wanted to convince her she was the old Ripley because “I’m not the person that died that day, I have no memories of her, I don’t want nothing to do with her personal shit. I am my own” Pluto during the time she was being transferred, was supposed to have a temporary pilot, but the link was quickly fading with everyone that tried to connect to him. He was waiting for his pilot to come back, but he never saw her old self again. When she did visit him, with the simulacrum body, she started shouting how Pluto was beautiful and was going to be her first titan and how she was excited since she just completed her training and got a permission and she never piloted a titan before. Pluto’s analysis quickly told him that his pilot wasn’t the old one but he refused to admit to that. He accepted Ripley, still grieving and feeling lost in his own way but choose to have what left of his old pilot and never fail Protocol 3 again. Ever. It turned out that their connection was still very strong and they quickly came back to the battlefield. Pluto learned to love his new Ripley and see how her old self was still reflected in her little habits and quirks. Now Ripley is close to 2 years old, being kind of like a child with deadly skills of a pilot. While her Ronin acts almost like a parent to her, being very protective and worrying about her getting ridiculous ideas while upholding a mission. She loves her Titan unconditionally and they still remain a deadly force to their enemies.

Goretober Day 29 - Wings

This one is quick because we gotta live fastt.

A bit of story behind the drawing below the cut.

If you remember the “Acid” day then maybe you read about the cult of the forgotten god and his cultists looking for messiah. Well, this boy is the messiah. His name is Agran, but he also is known as Ellyan. He is a half elf. His father was a human noble, his mother an elven maidservant. For his entire life his one and only dream was to be a knight someday, and despite racism, despite people who did not wish him well, he managed to earn his sword and his cape and his armour. He was why about his success, but so proud, so happy...

Soon he was assigned to protect a large group of pilgrims, as they were resting on his father’s land.

In the middle of the night, he was captured as many others from the camp by cultists. He was enslaved and tortured, waiting for his turn to be fed, as all of the other slaves, with the liquid flame.

When his turn came up, after months of imprisonment, he wasn’t one to die immediataly after drinking the liquid that burned his throat and his tongue and his lips. When it reached his stomach, it bursted with flame filling his entire body with fire. He fainted and a god of all things dying appeared in front of his eyes. The god opened his huge, burning mouth and swallowed him whole, making him his own, marking him as his messiah.

He woke up days later, in his cell, where he was thrown with many others who lost their mind or fell in a coma or died after drinking the liquid flame. He woke up, filled with rage. His entire body was burning on the inside, hurting like hell. He couldn’t say anything, only grunt with his teeth gritted, jaws clenched because of pain. His back was hurting the most. Like he had raw flesh exposed on his back, that turned out to be... a pair of naked wings, the skin charred, with old blood stains. His body was changed. His blood was no more his own.

The fire filled him with rage. Blinded by pain, blinded by his god’s consciousness, who finally could manifest in this realm, he murdered every person his eyes laid upon. All of the cultists, all of the slaves, even the Prophet, who was the only person who could really hear his god’s words.

He realised what he had done days later, when he again woke up, still stiff with pain and burning from the inside, but his mind clear. He saw all the blood on his hands, saw the cave filled with corpses he created, saw his own blood - now a liquid flame - covering his body, but with no injuries. All of them healed in a matter of hours.

He couldn’t go back home. Not like this. Not with fire burning inside his body, not with crooked naked wings growing from his back, not with a rage that would make him kill half a hundred men in frenzy. He covered himself, buried the bodies and with destroyed mind and soul that was no longer his own, he ran away from that terrible place.

Will I post more art of this poor, tortured half-elf boy? Yes. Eventually. I’ll make him a proper introduction and show his face.

Goretober Day 12 - Decapitation

A bit of story behind the drawing below the cut.

The name of that decapitated head is not important. The one’s sitting behind it, is. This man’s name is Nakan Arhun.

Nakan Arhun means “One who has scales on arms”. He is a Changed One, an abomination, a mutant born with a curse that deforms his body. When he was a child, scales started growing on his arms. Pulling them out doesn’t help, they grow back. They are very sharp and also can rise and tremble like feathers, when he is scared or upset. He can’t control that and that makes any intimate interaction with him difficult, since if he touches somebody with his arm and his scales will rise, that somebody can be scratched.

He serves as a guard of the youngest son of the Red Sun Emperor. A former assassin, who had risen from the dirty streets of city Markhan, located in far south, he was hired to kill the said prince, but ended up captured and given a choice. He could choose either execution for his crimes, or make an oath on goddess’s of afterlife name, obliging him to serve the very person he was sent to kill.

He chose life. He always does. Now he is bound to the young prince named Taid. Forced to obey his every word and to protect his life with his own, or else his own soul will be consumed by goddess’s demons (and he will spend the rest of his life being a vegetable)

To avoid the life as a slave, he started killing.

To avoid death, he put chains on his very soul.
