New Year, New Me Nonsense
Hello 2019! I had completely forgotten I had set up a Tumblr account so might as well take a crack at it...again, right? A few weeks ago, I had gone to get my palm read by a friend of mine and one of things that came out of it was I should write more. I’m not into journaling as much as I probably should be since I totally failed at LiveJournal years ago so maybe I can take a stab at this thing. We will see where it takes me, us...whoever.
2018 was actually a pretty decent year for me. I got to mark off a bucket list item by setting up a private overnight stay at Waverly Hills. I still need to do a write up for that over on our paranormal page, www.otownparanormal.com. Yeah, that’s another site that I haven’t touched since I did the event at Waverly in 2017. It was fun and as a group, we want to do another trip. I think this year will be off the table since I started a new job but we are looking at 2020.
We made it back to DragonCon in 2018 and I can’t believe how much I missed it. I had planned on doing a bunch of different cosplays (Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy...) but that didn’t exactly happen. Rob, Mike and Chris came up with an idea of doing a SPACEFORCE group cosplay which turned into us creating a group on Facebook which then led us to do a photo shoot with said group. It was insanely fun. Here we are months later and that group is still active and we are planning for this year’s con. You want to follow our craziness, search for United States Space Force Recruits on Facebook. You won’t regret it. Or you might. I don’t know.
Anyways, well, this is really all I can come up with to drone on and on about right now. I’ll make an attempt to do this on a more regular basis. You know, on the slim chance someone actually reads this or cares to read in the future. Mostly will start sharing things from Instagram again, maybe some rambling from time to time and maybe even recipes I find. Who knows. I’m on a Keto kick since March which has help me drop almost 40 pounds so that’s something else for 2018 to report.
Here’s to a great, more active year!
