The Space Gods: Creation Story
At first, the newborn galaxy was calm and infinite, reaching to the stars and multiple galaxies beyond this one. Typhus, the god of the infinite galaxies and its beasts, rested peacefully on the bottom of one of his many shadowy depths. He felt lonely. He stared up at the vast emptiness around him. With a wave of his hand, a blinding light shot out of his palm. "I shall call you Yarin, the goddess of the Sun. You shall warm the day and all the creatures that I create." Typhus said. Yarin was very happy and took her place in the sky. She danced across the skies, pulling matter and creating small rocks and energy that orbited her and worshipped her. Typhus was proud. Soon, however, her rays gave him a massive headache. Typhus rolled over and crafted a smaller ball of light. "I shall call you Furion, the god of the moon. You shall balance your sister's brightness with your darkness. Speaking of darkness..." he dimmed the light and out of it, Sohi, the goddess of darkness was born. Typhus released both Furion and Sohi into the air.
"It is time to rest, sister." Furion replied.
"Oh, Thank you, I was getting tired." Yarin said. For the first time, the sun sunk low below and the moon danced a slow dance with Sohi. For the first time in centuries, Typhus slept creating Melody, the goddess of sleep. He woke to Yarin's rays, once again. He watched as his children danced across the sky. The next moon cycle, Typhus fell asleep once again and created twins, Artis; the god of dreams, and Malfecius; the goddess of nightmares. He woke with a start and watched as Furion danced across the sky. Several years past, and with each passing year, Typhus grew more and more lonely. Furion and Yarin grew increasingly worried about their father's depression. Furion and Yarin suggested he created himself a companion. After much thinking, he gathered the ingredients to create himself a companion. A lock of his hair, sea water from the planet Yarin called Earth, a sea shell made of pearl from the planet named 4546B, and a flower from the Endless Galaxy. Yarin offered a ray from her beam. Gratefully, Typhus accepted the gift. And Furion offered a fine dust with glittering flecks in it. Gratefully, Typhus accepted this gift. he mixed the mixture and breathed life into the mixture. A beautiful goddess emerged.
"Oh, beautiful woman, what is your name?" Typhus asked.
"My name is Sen, Titan of beauty." she answered. He instantly loved her and her, him. They spent the day watching Yarin dancing. "She looks lonely." Sen said as she watched. Typhus looked up at Yarin and noticed as well. "Can I give her a gift?"
Typhus smiled, "Oh course, my sweet." Sen closed her eyes and the sky on Earth was born.
"I will call you, Ozion, the majesty of the sky." Typhus was mesmerized by the beauty of the sky. Yarin danced around with her new friend.
"Thank you, mother!" she smiled and hugged Sen. Night came.
"Its so empty up there..." Sen commented. Typhus looked up into the night sky.
"We should create something together!" Sen replied, excitement alight in her eyes.
"What do you want to create?" Typhus asked.
"Close you eyes. Think of twinkling lights." Se answered. Thus, the universe was created with all of it millions of stars and galaxies. Typhus was surprised. Furion was delighted by her gift.
"Thank you, mother!" Furion said and flung her arms around the titan. He played with the stars, chasing them across the endless skies.
"Her name is Andrae, goddess of stars." Sen said, sleepily. Typhus and Sen went to sleep amongst the stars.
Sen was with child. Typhus was excited to be a father. The pregnancy was hard for Sen. One force overpowered the other in her stomach. When the forces were born, one was completely liquid and became the Milky Way galaxy. The other looked like a small gem. The liquid baby was name Sineweed, the goddess of the galaxies. The baby gem was named Fabius, the majesty of treasure and fire. Despite how they were in the womb, Sineweed and Fabius were close and helpful to their mother. Typhus was a proud father. He taught Sineweed how to harness the waves and currents. He taught Fabius to create using gems and fire. And together they created beasts known only as the Jetsoarins. The first monsters.
Before long, Sen was pregnant again. This pregnancy was a horror for her. A violent storm constantly raged in her womb. Sen was on bedrest for most of this pregnancy. Sineweed, Fabius, and Typhus took turns looking after her. Finally, a baby of storm and rage was born. He became the galaxies first storm. She named him Rynaxx, the god of storms. Typhus was once again a proud father. He taught Rynaxx how to control his anger and harness the winds. Typhus and Rynaxx created the first Pegasus, the mother of all winged creatures.
The last pregnancy that Sen had was quiet. No complications. Or so it was thought. Sen gave birth to a beautiful baby boy with colors of the rainbow. She named him Aradzak, the god of winds and communication. The twin baby girl, was born a ghost. Sen fretted over the baby girl. She eventually came to understand that her daughter would rule Atlantis, the Underworld. She named the baby girl, Asphodel. Asphodel became the Angel of death, the goddess of death. Typhus was a proud father once more. Aradzak, Fabius and typhus created the Hytamas, the father of beasts. Asphodel and Sen created Dynauticus, the leviathan that protects the entrance to Atlantis.
After this pregnancy, Typhus and Sen decided to pass the world to their children and left for Atlantis.
When Typhus and Sen left, their children grew very lonely. Fighting broke out amongst the siblings. Fabius and Rynaxx fought over who was the strongest. Rynaxx was convinced that he was the strongest and challenged Fabius to a duel. Winner takes all. Rynaxx underestimated his sibling's cunning and was mortally wounded. This battle caught the eyes of Furion. Furion grew more and more infatuated with Fabius. Fabius returned Furion's feelings. Thus, the first love was between two men. Fabius and Furion created a little boy that they named Dylan, the god of secrets. Dylan never grew past the age of 13. Sineweed, in this time, pined after Rynaxx. When Rynaxx was mortally wounded, Sineweed took care of Rynaxx and created a herb called Attar. A mixture of stardust and a exotic flower. It magically healed Rynaxx's wounds. While Sineweed was taking care of Rynaxx, they grew closer together until a few months later, they welcomed their son into the world. He was born with a shield and spear. They named him Ariel, the god of protection and war. Afterwards, Rynaxx asked Sineweed to marry him. She said yes. It was a beautiful ceremony. On his wedding night, however, Rynaxx cheated on Sineweed with Yarin. Yarin ran away to her palace afterwards and didn't come out until months later with a youngster in tow. She named her Kolvax and she was the goddess of love. When Sineweed found out about Rynaxx's infidelity, she was enraged. For years the sky and galaxies raged against each other. Out of this war to beasts were born. One named Talal; the beast of envy. And the other, Kranon, the beast of lust. Finally, the sky and galaxies calmed. Sineweed forgave Rynaxx and made him promise to never do it again. He promised.
In the time of the war, Fabius took this time to perfect an idea. From his fire, crystals, glass, and gems, he created several small figurines. At first they were crude and disgusting looking. He breathed life into them and they were the first giants. Giants with 600 hands, and 400 eyes. He named them Igithagz. He tried again. The next batch were no different. He breathed life into them. These were the first warriors. Their heads were one gaint eye, on top of bulky bodies. He named these Lygonizans. The next batch, there was still little to no change. He breathed life into them. These were old hags with horse bodies, five of them. He named these Gwendosimons. The Gwendosimons proved to be helpful at least. They could tell the future. Fabius gifted them a pair of eyes, 2 between 5, a crystal knife, and a pool of water. The Igithagz and Lygonizans were banished and locked into Empty Space. He finally perfected it. He presented his creations to his siblings. They were in awe. "What are they called?" asked Rynaxx.
"I'm not sure. They are whatever you create them to be." Fabius answered. One by one, the siblings, Rynaxx, Sineweed, Furion, and Yarin breathed life into the crystals. The ones that Furion and Yarin breathed into became several different species of aliens. Halamars, Milloinid, Alvanrynn, and Latavusart are a few. The ones that Sineweed breathed into became mermaids, sirens, and sea life on the planet Earth. The ones that Rynaxx breathed into became giants and trolls and beast of the planet Earth. The ones that Fabius breathed into became the most precious of all, humans.
For a while, everything was good. Furion and Fabius still loved each other and would chase each other across the skies. Fabius, however, had started to get caught in the long love goddess's spell. The created a girl named, Hiybaz; the goddess of planets. Furion was furious and hid in her castle on the moon and stopped coming down from the heavens. Hiybaz was raised by Kolvax and Fabius. Ariel began courting her, when she became of age. Ariel and Hiybaz had twins Pau and Pat. Pau became the goddess of justice and Pat became the god of balance. With the birth of Pat and Pau, everything was perfect and balanced.
After this, the gods, goddesses, and majesties started to blip out of existence. Being sucked into by a force unknown. To where? We have never known. To beyond the stars some used to say. Beyond the Stars, into its dark inky depths.
