Helooked at her nervously over the desk, the blue haired girl not even noticingthe pair of hazel eyes basically staring at her. Jeff had gone through thismoment over in his head so many times he probably couldn’t even count that highif he tried, or at least he would have lost count about halfway through everytime, but now that it was looking him straight in the face, it still didn’t makegoing through with it any easier.

     “Hey?”

    The pair of gray eyestook a moment before they looked up from the notebook sitting on the desk infront of her, her hand finishing the word she was currently writing. Jeff wasn’texactly sure what she was working on, but he didn’t dare to ask. It wasn’t importantright now, maybe he could use it as a bailing plan B if the situation got toosticky for his liking and he had to quickly change the topic.

    “Yeah?”

    He wasstared back rather intensely, it was almost like Pixi was impatient with him.She didn’t sound like it, but her eyes were telling him a whole differentstory, traveling all over his face as if they were trying to find a point tolook at that made it less obvious how much she already missed the lines of thepages of her notebook.

    “I, uh,wanted to talk to you about something.”

    Well,that one was fairly obvious, seeing how they were the only two people sittingin the clubroom at the moment, half an hour before anyone else was scheduled toshow up. Pixi nodded, Jeff making a mental note how part of her bangs bouncedin front of her forehead a little. Had they always been that long?

    Hewatched as Pixi lowered the pen from her hand, slowly closing the notebook, effectivelytrapping the pen between the pages, before her eyes looked back up at him. Shealmost looked like she had been expecting this? But Jeff wasn’t thatpredictable, at least not with this… Right?

    “I’mgoing to assume you talked to Peanut?”

    Shit, didshe really already know? Jeff nodded slowly, watching as Pixi let out a longsigh before running a hand through her shorty, messy blue hair. After a moment,she nodded her head as well. “Well… Then you know.”

    Yes… Yes,he did know. Jeff was aware of the order things had gone down. How he had toldPBG how he felt about the blue girl sitting across the table from him. How PBGhad told him to go for it, Jeff pushing the thought off and leaving it at that.Maybe it would happen in the future.

    How PBGhad taken the matters into his own hands without telling anybody, trying tomake Jeff jealous enough to confess as he started to court his classmateinstead.

    Thingshas just went downhill from there. As far as Jeff knew, this was betrayal, andnothing more. He didn’t go for the girl, so his best friend did. For whatpurpose, he didn’t really know. All that was sure, is that after PBG starteddating her, the contact was broken.

    No moregame days together.

    No morepractice time together.

    No moreteam game in the soccer matched either.

    Up untilyesterday Jeff didn’t know why this happened. And after he learned that it wasfor his sake, it didn’t really make things any better. He had been kept in thedark about everything for so long, the revelation felt like it was made up onthe spot when PBG finally decided to tell him, months later, what was actuallygoing on.

    And thatsomewhere down the line he had actually fallen for the girl he knew his best friendalso had feelings for since the very beginning.

    “To behonest,” Pixi’s quiet voice cut his trail of thought, the pair of hazel eyesblinking Jeff back into reality as he noticed that he had stopped to stare the topof the blue hair across the desk as Pixi looked down at her notebook, herfingers tracing the imagines on its cover. Foxes, huh?

    “If youwould have told me first, I would have said yes. I loved you.”

    It took amoment for the words to hit in, Jeff’s eyes slowly widening.

    “You… Youdo?”

    “Loved.”She looked up, sending him a little smile as she straightened her back beforestanding up, grabbing the notebook with her. “It’s too late. I’m sorry, Jeff.”

    His mindstill registering her words, frozen on his seat Jeff watched as the girl flungher bag over her shoulder, giving him another apologetic smile before sheexited the clubroom.

also!!! jeff overworking himself bc of soccer stuff (maybe an important tournament is coming up) and he injures himself during practice and has to take it easy (aka he can’t play in the tournament anymore) so mads visits him when they’re not attending class just hanging out with him, sometimes bringing over friends (both his and theirs) so they can all hang out, etc. (this is probably too similar to the pbg route in asagao fnsjjdhf i haven’t played it in ages)

i didnt even remember this being similar to things in peanuts route lol im bad at video games

ok so like. spaceharper right. would mads ever wanna get involved with jeff’s student council campaign stuff? bc 1. avery would absolutely love the help, there’s only so much they and jeff can do without getting overloaded and 2. more bonding time for mads and their bf (but even if they don’t i have a feeling they’ll support him regardless of how much they involve themself in it)

aaaaaaaa this goes WAY back with this route cause it was a thing since the very beginning that mads would totally be brought in to help jeff out with some campaign stuff, along with kit getting involved as the artsy kid! but yea, mads would be asked to help him write speeches or look them over, way more behind the scenes stuff than anything actually public, but they do spend a lot of time together with jeff doing all this together tho! often through the night with little to no sleep together cause wow what are deadlines tbh

If they got to pick what one another wears for a day, what would one another wear?blue. lots of blue. mads wants jared to wear his blue shirt (”its pretty and its soft and you look so nice in it”) and jared insist she wears one of his shirts (”cause its adorable, they are so big on you”) and her favorite pair of blue jeans. i dont think i need to say why anymore at this point lol

Jeff is 10/10 the supportive boyfriend you want if you're stressed out??

-Most of the time he can pick up on his own just fine if Mads has had a bad or rough day. Its generally something in her tone or the way she was speaking, even if she was trying to hide it, or in the way she's been talking less than usual.

-On the rare event he does need a prompt, all it takes is a quick text from Kit requesting he come over bc his girlfriend caught a case of the sads™

-Dr HamHam never takes long to show up with something to help solve the problem. He seems to just have a way of knowing what kind of stress or sads it is that Mads is struggling with??

-In cases where he thinks Mads needs a laugh, he'll literally be dressed as Dr HamHam. Complete with a white doctor's coat.

"I'm gonna bring it back later..."

-Is Mads angry stressed and needs to kill some things? He'll pack Left4Red, possibly the Bewitcher 3, or another zombie game. Is Mads tired stressed or missing home? He'll pack Starrydew Vale or Animal Intersection.

-So Mads goes into the room alone and Jeff's set up a sensory paradise. Vanilla scented candles and a couple of night lights and he's made a pillow Fort out of the bed (also somehow stringing up blankets to make it look more like a little tent, how Jeff)

-He addresses Mads as his patient and here's what the doctor's ordering; an evening in with your boyfriend in the blanket Fort he's set up.

-he'll give Mads all the cuddles she needs, and sits her in his lap whilst they watch baby animal videos, play Starrydew Vale, throw on the cat-and-bunny boy dating sim if that's going to make you feel better

-He's got packed all the snacks you could ever want or need

when mads gets really excited talking about something, she can easily slip into three different languages - japanese, english, and finnish - cause shes so into talking she doesnt want to stop and keeps forgetting words in certain languages, so she tends to combine the languages up to the point people might have hard time understand her at times. it doesnt really matter to the s/o tho, they just think its freaking adorable cause shes just. SO freaking excited

That's literally the most precious thing I've ever read though

-Jeff is the one most likely who tries hardest to keep up, he gets himself a little translation dictionary for both English and Finnish so he can at least mostly understand

-Kit thinks it's the cutest thing they've ever seen and whilst they can only grasp some of what she's saying, she's still just so cute how did they bag this precious creature

-Luke literally can't comprehend being fluent in thar many languages and so every time he sees this his heart just. Flutters. Because look at how cute his girlfriend is she's so smart she gets her languages mixed up because she knows so many.
