Donna wasn’t too happy with this job. Sure, the pay was great in this ice cream shop but it’s summer and her friends are out there in some beach getting a tan or something. Her problem with the job is her co-worker who’s probably on the mental side of things, and her really weird manager. Oh, and of course there were all these obnoxious kids who are great at annoying her. 

She just got lucky when her more-than-weird manager announced that there’ll be an addition to the crew. She’s already grown tired with the one she’s currently with because of his standoffish nature.

Donna was wiping the display window when a skinny bloke entered the shop. She launched into the default welcome provided by her boss. 

“Hello, sir. Welcome to Sprinklez!,” she greeted cheerfully.

TIMESTRIDESFORBOWTIES ROLEPLAY THREAD MASTERPOST AND PARTNER RECOGNITION... THING.

It's time I shine a light on all the threads I have. I contribute a majority to my amazing moirail, Amy. She's an excellent 10th Doctor and Amy Pond, go follow her she is wonderful.

On top of that I'd like to recognize my roleplay partners Waters, who plays the awesome Cindy Lennox from Resident Evil Outbreak. As well as Alyssa, who plays an amazing Sora from Kingdom Hearts and 11th Doctor. And last but certainly not least; Spencer, who plays a really great Dave Strider. Dave entered the console, finishing his recent assignment of daily homework. At this point, he almost didn't mind it anymore. He got to go on an adventure once the homework was done, and that was all the motivation he needed. On top of that Dave felt like he was getting smarter. Math was coming easier to him, and History was just review. The science bits were difficult, but the Doctor never penalized Dave for wrong answers. 

For the lack of proper education, as the Doctor seems to claim, Dave finds him to be a phenomenal teacher. 

He'd never admit it though, it's a part of their game. 

Dave plopped down the stack of papers on the console, tapping his foot on the grate. 

"Meet in the console room Dave, I have a surprise." Dave reiterated to himself, observing the empty room. 

"Was it dead silence?" He said to himself again, taking a seat on the chair with his completed science and math homework. 

The console flashed a few times, and Dave heard the crash of something falling over, and the repeated Ow's afterword. Sounds like the TARDIS did Dave a favor in letting the Doc know he was done. 

"Thanks, TARDIS."

“Shh, c’mere…”

Still scared and holding the now empty pill bottle Gemini practically fell into John's arms, burrowing into his shirt as her shaking hands grabbed for him.

The pills she'd bought after his accident, to keep her calm, to stop the panic. But she knew when she started carrying them in her purse after he was home that she was risking a relapse. It was 3 weeks after John's release from the hospital and he was still week, but she couldn't do this to him again. So she told him. With tears and shame and fear she'd given him the bottle and begged him to get rid of it. He'd led her to the bathroom, with an arm firm around her waste, and helped her flush each and every pill down the toilet. 

It was exhausting for her, nerve wracking and more than once she'd wanted to change her mind and beg to keep just a few. Just a few. But she'd look at John and remember all the sneaking around and the hugs that he never knew hurt because of what she'd done to herself and his face when he left her at the hospital and the barely restrained tears each time he visited. And she didn't change her mind. 

"Th- thank you." She gasped into his shirt over and over again.
