I need some mikosaru pls;-;
Okay this angsty sad Mikosaru but it’s the first thing I could think of: imagine Mikosaru situation with Circle Vision, Fushimi who was kinda maybe dating Mikoto before his death and now here’s this world where Mikoto is alive and Fushimi is aware that it’s false but that just makes him annoyed. Especially being aware that this is Homra’s — Yata’s — dream, because Fushimi long ago stopped dreaming about wanting something that’s gone, and when he hears from Yata that Mikoto is alive Fushimi just thinks that of course the Mikoto in this world isn’t going to bother with him. The real Mikoto didn’t so much as say goodbye, not really, so Fushimi doesn’t expect anything from a dream either.
Which is why he’s surprised during the last ‘battle’ when Mikoto makes a stop to see him. Fushimi freezes for a moment and then clicks his tongue, all annoyed that a phantom’s the one who bothers to show up now. Mikoto shrugs and says he didn’t think Fushimi would want to see him, Fushimi grumbles that why should he and he doesn’t expect anything of Mikoto, he never did. Mikoto says he’s not the same as the Mikoto from Fushimi’s world so — and Fushimi cuts him off there, like exactly, so don’t bother with me. Mikoto sighs all you're a guy who likes to put words in other people’s mouths and Fushimi coldly says wasn’t Mikoto the one who said Fushimi was fine the way he is and what a joke that was, how ridiculous.
Mikoto walks over to him then and imagine him just grabbing Fushimi by the chin and kissing him, Fushimi sputtering as Mikoto grins. He says Fushimi is fine just like that and he always thought so, maybe Fushimi should think it more himself. Fushimi gives him a look like what the hell was that and Mikoto says he figured it was a good way to get Fushimi’s attention. Fushimi’s like yes it did that I swear you’re always this kind of person and his voice falters just a little on the last word, hands clenching. Mikoto says he’s gotta go, putting a hand on Fushimi’s head as he says Fushimi will be fine — so since the other him didn’t say it, goodbye. Fushimi watches him go, one hand touching his lips and then he clicks his tongue and gives a rueful smile, like really even to the end that guy’s just the same.
