They function similarly to those air-activated heat patches for soothing soreness in your back, shoulders, legs — wherever muscles ache. Spacemasks are soothing heat patches for your sore eyes! I tore one packet open and removed a single spaced-out eye mask. Almost immediately the proprietary formula began to warm up the mask in contact with oxygen in the air. The packaging says there are only two ingredients: jasmine essence and iron powder. I have to assume the iron powder is the force behind the heat. These are very, well, cool. Lying down with a mask on is truly otherworldly. It feels like a sauna for your face. The mask is super warm and soothing.
