While exploring a new planet, McCoy is overcome by space madness. Kirk and Spock must follow him into the past to correct the timeline he ruined and rescue the entire Enterprise.
Spock exhibits increasingly strange behavior after a transporter malfunction and Jim wants to know why. Good thing nature has a flair for revealing the most asinine of secrets.
Post-ST XI. Three months into the five-year mission, Spock is still with Uhura, and Spock and Jim are at each other's throats when the Enterprise is sent to investigate another lightning storm in space. They encounter a Vulcan ship, commanded by Captain Spock and his very illogical First Officer Jim Kirk who, to everyone's shock, are happily married and in love with each other. The other Kirk disapproves of the fact that his counterpart is letting Uhura have what should be 'rightfully his' and is determined to 'set things right,' but the problem is, no one appreciates his meddling.
Jim and Spock eat some fruit that has unexpected side effects.
A little linguistic confusion goes a long way when the Enterprise runs into a ‘penal colony.’
Jim knew what men liked: to possess and destroy. Planets, women, slim-hipped young men mucking out stables as distant Sol browned their glistening skin, it didn’t matter.
Kirk is a virgin -- like, a LEGIT virgin, and the whole crew finds out. What I'd really like to see is a fic in which Kirk has built up a reputation accidentally, but has always been interrupted, and then, by the time he's made Captain, he decides that being a good officer and a good man is more important than "fixing" his problem. Cue alien ritual requiring a virgin, and Kirk being the only one available.
Kirk buys a sex manual and suggests to Spock they try out all the positions.
