This was my first time using blender for anything. I should have probably started with a donut, but this was a fun experiment from my usual traditional art!

You're just a rat. An ant. You crawl between the gaps of their fingers, thinking them lax - but all they need to do, friend, is close their fist.

The United Coalitions of the Ascendant boasts absolute control, disguising oppression as order. Yet, beneath its faux promises of peace, an undertow of crime and rebellion still brews - and you're one of the billions struggling within those waves.

To most of the galaxy, you're just any old Runner - competent, well-connected, and one of the best, of course - but still just a smuggler and informant, only in this job for the money.

Your loyalty, however, ultimately lies with the disorganized rebel forces - dubbed R.A.T.S by the Ascendancy. Still in its nascent form, the rebellion is currently formed by dozens of smaller cells, scattered across Circuits and Planets. As a steadfast rebel spy posing as a well-connected Runner - you're one of the many threads attempting to tie it all together.

Focus, Soldier. You've still got work to do.

▽ The Spy - [30-40 | It's You] You're not young, nor inexperienced. Once a young rebel soldier of a world now in the Ascen Republic's grasp, you've fought their control most your life. Now, you hide beneath the facade of a mercenary Runner, while being one of the rebellion's most useful assets - as a spy, smuggler, informant, assassin, soldier - and whatever else they need you to be.

Young, but already one of the leaders in the rebellion. They've always treated you with quiet respect and courtesy, though you know their first priority will always be the cause. They're pragmatic and focused, but an optimist at heart - how else can you explain their lofty goal to organize all scattered rebellion cells into a central, connected force?

▽ Viper - [30 | She/Her] [RO] The Mercenary

A client for your Runner persona. Viper's not her real name, though it suits her well, quick and mean as she is. You know nothing of the mercenary’s loyalties and true identity - which is a problem, since what she's seeking seems to be information on the rebellion. But it’s as they say - keep your friends close, and enemies closer. And Viper - bite as bad as her hiss - would be a dangerous enemy indeed.

▽ Nicodème Desrosiers Fabien - [28 | He/They] [RO] The Politician

The successor of the Desrosiers Coalition, a well established noble trading family with a seat in the Ascen Republic. Gathered information shows them as a charming politician - but meek, in matters of governance. Inoffensive to the extreme, with the only speck on his record a non-arranged marriage - information on his wife remains sparse. You have not met him, and doubt that you will.

Play as male, female or non-binary; cis or trans; allo, aromantic, asexual or aro-ace. Have a semi-set fake personality as the Runner, and play multiple fake identities like the Spy you are. Customize your actual personality, appearance, style, and how others perceive you. Customize your cybernetics, weapons and skills as both the Runner and Spy. Customize your Star-shuttle - your primary mode of transport and living space. Build bonds, but be cautious. Trust does not come easy. There's much at stake here, soldier - nothing is more important than the cause.
